Basically im trying to rebuild the coil and wick, but im failing miserably.

The cotton is too thick but i don't think im supposed to separate the cotton.

I got Koh Gen Do, and 26g wire.

Im rebuilding on the kango subtank mini.

The cotton keeps breaking and my wrapping of the coil around the screwdriver is ok i guess, but idk... it heats up evenly so i think its ok.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!! - cotton part

Not sure what you mean by "breaking apart?" You are cutting it into long strips, WITH the grain. Correct? Maybe some pics would help.

It's ok i done it now bloody hell.

It's the cotton that comes in layers and square/rectangle pieces. I found it to be too thick when i was pulling it through the coil so i took half a layer off and it worked.

Do you understand?

Here's a pic : click

You see how they come in pieces with layers?

BTW does your seg 100w plus button get stuck?

I'm pretty familiar with what koh gen do looks like. lol Yes, for most uses I find it better to take the single sheet and separate it into two sheets by pulling the layers apart. When looking at the face of the sheet, you will see a clear direction that the fibers run. You should be cutting your strips WITH the grain, not across it. when wicking, it usually helps to roll just the tip to get it through the coil, then pull the rest through and trim.

No, I've never had the button ever get stuck on the Sig. It works pretty much flawlessly every day. I was trying to think of a complaint on the device, but i can't come up with much. Ive been eying picking up a red one, but I'm trying to watch the vape budget! lol

Lucky, i just did some diy on mine seems to have fixed it, only had it 2 days :/

Yeah that's what i ended up doing separating the layer into 2. And yes i know of the method when inserting it through the coil, my issue before was that the cotton was thick and when pulling it thru itd be too tight and rip. But like i said before all sorted :).

PS: I saw RIP Trippers video on how to build on it (im newb), and he seemed to have used all the layers idk how and said to keep it layered maybe there was some mis-communication and what he meant was keep a couple layers together.
