The apparent message being that vaping is just as bad as smoking. Tri-County Mental Health Services, which covers much of the Kansas City area, is embarking on a campaign to properly educate our "confused" teens so they may avoid "products targeting teens for nicotine addiction," because they contain a "countless number of chemicals . . . including formaldehyde, fluorine, tobacco-specific nitrosamines (cancer-causing compounds also found in tobacco smoke), acetone, glycerin, and propylene glycol." [fluorine, seriously!?]

I tried to post a comment yesterday, but it has yet to be "approved." I doubt it ever will be.

I am reminded of an event that took place in NYC sometime in the 19th century; apparently it was thought for a long time that tomatoes were poisonous. Someone staged a public tomato-eating event, to prove that they were not. I guess that's our job, to counter all this idiocy about vaping.

Well I posted a comment that appears to be the only one.

"So which of the two (cigarette/e-cig) are you advertizing for the Kids To Use?
I believe I already know the answer but would love to hear it from you."
Could advertisements like this be contributing to the numbers in that "study" that showed teens who try vaping are more likely to try traditional cigarettes? I mean, if there's no difference, why not?

i have been saying for quite some time the only
people actively advertising to children are the anti smoking/ vaping
organizations.
they are making certain every one under the age of twelve knows about these products.
with no exemptions.
we wonder why regards
mike
