I am finding the ecig forum in general a as very informative and entertaining place to be.

A full spectrum, opinion-wise, but a shared passion for discovery and past smoking associations seem to perpetuate a very civil (mostly) and genuinely interest driven dialogue between the participants.

I'm beginning to feel an almost friendship-like association with many here, even though I don't post all that often (don't like to post unless I feel I have something really valuable to say) but have come to recognize many from my perch on 'the sidelines.'

Thanks to all for this forum and keep up the good work.

The ECF is what convinced me to give e-cigs a try and quit smoking. I did weeks of research before ordering my first e-cig, and got a lot of my info here. I stuck around afterwards to learn about different models & mods, and to read about the court case with SE and the FDA. I also happened to meet a lot of really great people, and some very "colorful characters". :D

It's a great place to hang out, chat with folks, get a lot of information, and be entertained by all of the different people talking about various things. Yeah, I really like this forum, too. :)

I hate these forums..... with all the information, reviews, contests, sale advertisements, and people trying to help others. I used to spend a few hours a day playing games or watching movies or tv while sitting at my pc and now I end up just spending that time unable to make myself stop sifting through the forums. sheeeeeeeeeesh!!!! :D

What do you like about this forum?

I like this forum mostly for the same reasons as others have posted.

Long ago, whenever I went out with my non-smoking friends, they always wanted to sit in the smoking sections. When I asked why, they answered, "Some of the most interesting and livelier people sit in the smoking section."

This is the first forum where I feel comfortable even posting. Most of the people here are ex-smokers or soon to be, around my age and can hold a decent conversation and utilize critical thinking. People actually write full sentences and use correct grammer. WOW! Who'd of thought?

There's not a lot of text message shortcuts, "BTW, U seem 2B n the rt place." "TTFN CUL8R" Jeez, I have a hard enough time with english.

Not a lot of blanket statements being made - as an example: "People who smoke should quit." Duh.

I'm not reading, "Well, like, um, maybe U should quit. Like my grandmother was soooooo totally gross when she smoked. It's totally cool that she's you know, smoking on those e-cigs. OMG, did I use the right words?"

Cripes, there are people here I can relate to. People who remember games such as pinball, pong, pacman. People who lived before computers and cell phones became the norm. People who would take the roast out the night before to thaw.

I read a thread where someone mentioned soylent green. Someone has a signature quoting Kurt Vonnegut (sp?).

God, I've got to quit this obession with this forum. I might actually belong to a group. ACCCCKKKKKKK! Run away!!!!!
