Ok all, Im trying to gain a little more knowledge here....I have a R91 that Ive been building for a while. Ive noticed that with thinner juices (70/30), I am happy with around 9 watts. It gives awesome flavor an vapor. I bought some Space Jam juice from my local B&M shop, and its really thick...like almost syrup thick, so Im thinking mayby 40/60? Anywho, Im running a 1.7 ohm coil, sterile rolled cotton wick, and at 9 watts, it tasted....well....like rancid cow meat or something hahaha. Now, this juice seemed ok in my Kanger MT3 BCC tank on my Evod VV, I mean, it was at least vapeable so I didn't have to throw away the juice. I tried again in my R91 and found that if I cranked it to 14 or 15 watts, the flavor was actually pretty good. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal for thicker juices? Im just trying to understand the differences because I really like some of the flavors Ive found, but they are all thicker juices. I dont have any PG to thin it down, so thats not really an option. Help me out guys, please!!!!!!

I haven't vape my Russian at less than 20 watts for some time now. For me, the characteristics of the vape becomes, well, juicier and more pronounced, once one hits 15 watts, then with the right build and wick, it become Oh My Fraking Gaud, That's a Great Vape!!! when one hits 20 watts or so.

All my juices are mixed at 70-80% VG, I find high PG content just to harsh.

Thanks Dice, I was always concerned about burning the cotton, but that doesn't seem to be an issue. I thought it was the VG that gave a harsh TH, but the juice I have right now is just stellar at 15 watts (my SVD max is 15W). On my Provari though, I hit 4.3 volts with the same build and juice (just swap mods) and anything above that 4.3V on my provari it starts tasting burnt...I guess Im a little lost because the math with a 1.7 ohm at 15 watts is 5.05 volts. If I crank my Provari to 5 volts, it tastes kinda burnt lol...I think I may now be starting to see why VW is a good thing for some applications.....

so its all variable... the air flow, the watts, the liquid... different devices and delivery have optimal set ups... but also the flavors do too... this is not as huge...

when i was using my svd i would find that most liquids where roughly within 2 to 3 watts of each other... however i dont think i really enjoyed anything on my protank above 9 watts, maybe 10... then the aga t2 was better cranking out between 10 and 15 (never really dialed in the aga t2, got a reo mini within the same week as the aga t2) the mini performs great around 15 watts, havent dropped beneath an ohm yet....

will be dropping down tomorrow once my grand arrives (cant wait to get my hands on it) and i cant wait to get it up and running...

Ive given up on Protanks....Everything seems muted in them. I really love my R91, and today I got a carto setup just to try it out. Im really liking the carto's because the flavor seems pretty bold, easy setup, and pretty good vapor. My R91 is still my all around go-to, but Im gonna try out this carto setup for a couple days to see the "difference" from my R91. I do have a couple of Kanger MT3S BCC tanks that I use as spares or if Im feeling too lazy to put a new build in my Russian hahaha. With my Russian and this carto, I can run on my SVD at around 12 to 14 watts, but with the MT3, I have to tone it down to about 8 or 9. Im also figuring out that all of that is subjective to the juice Im using too....Im gonna have to start taking notes I think lol.

if you really want to ruin yourself... try a dripper... enjoy dripping... on a micro coil, or a nano coil... then after you have essentially tortured yourself with that... go get a REO because its dripping without dripping... perfection!
