yeah you get in the DIY rabbit hole that is not big enough trust me

lol
I'm an amateur watercolor painter...that is a rabbit hole! Brushes, papers, paints, tools, water pots and reference photos, books, tables, easels............

You have to be a charter member of "organizers R us" or just forget about it and let the mess take over, at least in whatever area you work at in.

Then you should know that thing is big enough for maybe your first month unless you are @NatashaTMT then that is too small for your first order

LMBO!!! This is true:facepalm: And I wish I’d waited until I was wiser about DIY to splurge so! Think @IDJoel said he did the same. So I’m not alone. Think maybe it’s a common newby mistake?

Nothing is ever big enough. If there is space it will get filled. Nature abhors a vacuum.

I don't mind the original splurge, it quickly and easily paid off. I just wish I would've splurged on smaller bottles even if I would've spent the same amount to get more flavors. I have 30ml of TFA Sweet Cream (I use at .5%) and Tiramisu (1%).
I only get 30ml of an unknown now if it's a clearance.

i have over 60 flavors ( I’m not doing an inventory to be more accurate than that lol) in boxes and tubs. I’d like to find some sort of little shelves to fit in my juice cupboard- it’s about 14” x 12”.

What are you guys using? Bonus points for pics/ links!
I went the low-tech route and use a cookie sheet (half sheet size).

For your cupboard dimensions; you could do something similar with a 1/4 sheet pan. The approximate dimensions run in the neighborhood of 9x13(ish).

Just for reference, the above photo was holding just shy of 290 concentrates in mostly 10 and 15mL bottles, though there is a solid double handful of 30ml. I created row dividers by cutting strips of foam-core poster board, and gluing up a square to fit the pan. Then, I cut additional strips to separate the rows, which are not glued in (friction only). That way, I can adjust the inner dividers as needed, based on changing bottle sizes.

The tray has a dedicated (unused) shelf in the linen closet. I pull it out when I mix; and put it back when I'm done. Easy-peazy!:D

I currently use one of these. The top storage lid has syringes and smaller bottles (10ml) flavor concentrate. Behind that a storage area for my bottles of Pg and Vg, a funnel and 50 ml beaker.

Bottom three drawers store my 30ml and 4 oz flavor concentrate bottles.
I use something like this from wally world. There white, stackable and each drawer will hold 3-4oz or a few smaller. I have them separated by flavor

I got tired of not having sufficient space to see all my flavors so I built myself a custom shelf to hold everything. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough foresight to build them bigger because since I made it I have about 60 more flavors that don't fit. :( Back to the drawing board.

I agree with this for the most part. However, I purchased a couple handfuls of flavors containing oil which I can’t use for DIY. I also didn’t understand about v1 & v2 changes or clear versus not or which aren’t too good and/or fade, etc. I didn’t understand I’d need different sorts of the same name flavorings. Such as more than one certain fruit, cake, cream, etc. But I’m learning more all the time and enjoying the journey:)

That was the idea behind having stadium shelves. I was tired of searching for stuff. Everything is lined up in alphabetical order. When not in use I have a drop cloth over the whole thing to keep the light out and the dust off.

The only thing I don’t like about that set up is there’s nothing to lock it up, etc. Though I guess you could lock the room door when needed. I’m always concerned about my cat & dog getting my sterile areas dirty. I haven’t seen them bother any of it yet but... I also have a teenage son & daughter. I don’t think dd would get into it but not sure about ds:laugh: I suppose if there’s no concerns of the sort it’d be an ideal set up that looks nice. I have to ask, how did you build them? With wood & nails, etc?

Mine were all vape safe but I got quite a few I'll never use for vaping, maybe baking. I also had to make another order fairly quick. First order 7/1/13, second order 7/8/13.
First order was almost all 30ml, second order was all 10ml:lol:

I did get 4 good recipes out of the first order alone but the 2nd order set some of them off.

Yeah, I have no worries about anybody or anything get into my set up.

And yup, wood and screws are what I made it out of. I had some unused wood left over from the deck (lots of it) so I just designed the ideal size that would fit the desk I was using. Now I have a much larger desk and I see the error of not building them way bigger than I should have. I think what I'll do is build one of the same design but half the size and just put it next to the existing shelves so I can expand the storage space. I have all my dad's wood working tools and his whole shop to do what I please with. Funny I choose to make vape related stuff

I made a fast drip tip stand too:
