    Hi there all.

Well it's juice changing time in my Zenith. So I best have a wash!!
I watched the Blockbuster movie starring Mr. Busardo. He recommended to run tap water through the top, I'm assuming it should be warm water but I just wanted to confirm before the big clean!!!

Also if anyone has a Zenith and a Zlide can you please let me know if the 0.48ohm Plex 3D coil can fit in the Zenith??
I'm looking to get a Zlide(when there available here!!)and it would be handy info.
Don't be shy to put your 2¢ worth in @pbusardo :2c::2c:

    Any help is much appreciated,

    Daniel.

@Daniel Forsyth, warm water is better at getting rid of residue.

But if you have access to a low end commercial ultrasonic cleaner with a heater that's even better, but I know that not everyone does.

No access to ultrasonic cleaner, warm water sounds good!

    Thanks Mordacai

If that doesn't do it, let it soak in Dawn dishwater for a bit. Dawn is what was used to remove the oil from animals after oil spills.

Yep any difficult clean use warm soapy water. Dish washer soap will get rid of of more or less anything but don't leave it in the solution too long as it can eat into things.

    Good luck :)

OMG - I'm expected to WASH the darn thing ... never had any of this malarkey with my Nautiluses!

Exit mutttering, "Bah, humbug, and they call this modren (sic) stuff progress! I remember the rare ould days when we ran our Vivi Novas till the wicks were black, the plastic threads melted and held on with sellotape and they still worked etc etc."

All joking aside, I'm reading this thread actually with great interest.

I don't own that particular tank, but generally speaking you take your tank apart as much as possible and clean with dawn soap, then rinse extremely well and dry before putting back together.

I don't know how much you can break down those Zeniths though, and if you can't get into all the nooks and crannys I'd skip the dawn, for real, because nothing is worse than vaping dawn..

I'd go with a water bath, and be happy. Its the safe option.

The Zeniths can't really be taken apart that much Opinionated, only the airflow taken off and coil taken out.
I wasn't too fussed on getting the soap on it:eek:

I don't know what "too fussed" means..Hahaha.. but I think I get what your saying.

You weren't thinking of using dawn anyway. I think. Yea!

I don't own a Zenith but if you can't fully take it apart I wouldn't use soap. I would hate to think you couldn't rinse it all out and your vape tasted like dish soap. For the most part warm to hot water rinses should be fine, but if it gets too dirty or you are changing flavors and getting some residual taste of the old flavor, then soak it in vodka (cheap works). Vodka will help clear the old flavors, without leaving it's own residue/lavor and is much easier to wash out that soap.

take it apart as much as possible, rinse it with a bit of warm water and after let it sit in Wodka for an hour or so, rinse again and let dry.

lol. I would NOT recommend pouring Dawn directly on it. THAT would be a very bad thing for just the reason you stated. But, soapy water made with Dawn, yes. I've used it on my Zenith. Works quite well.

    But, vodka is good too...

When I clean my RTA's I get in there with a cleaning toothbrush, pipe cleaners and everything else... there is not a hidey hole anywhere, and I wash my o-rings gentler and separate from the tank..

I wash I soak and I scrub..then I rinse and rinse some more.. lol

I know.. I'm weird.. lol.. it's been a long time since I've used a tank though, and with the hinged topcap I'm sure it's different than an RTA...
