I received my eGo today.

I also ordered some juice from Liberty Flights. I purchased Pepper Cola (PG), Spearmint (PG), and Menthol Smooth (VG). I wanted to see the difference between PG & VG.

I made sure the batteries were full and ready to go, blew the primer outta the atomizer, primed it, and dove in. I used the VG Menthol Smooth. The TH is like almost unbearable for me after like 3 seconds. The flavor is so flipping strong that it's all I can smell for 20 minutes afterwards.

Is there anything I can do to tone this down?

What nicotine level did you get? Maybe it's too high. Or, you can get some straight PG or VG to mix with it.

The Menthol Smooth was a 18mg nicotine level. It just seems that the eGo works a bit too good. lol

For me, I had to use the eGo as a pv, not an analog. I find myself using it like a pipe (puff, puff, inhale). It is definitely not a cigarette and is slightly different on the draw. I also like vg better and add it to my juice if it's not straight vg. I found that I don't like overpowering flavors either, so I've started ordering 36mg juice and mixing 50/50 with plain vg to get 18mg strength and lower flavoring. Also, after eating, the flavor seems to just pop.

If both the flavor and TH is too strong for you simply add some VG - 10% or so, and you should be fine. This will dilute both the flavor and TH.

Take slower and longer drags compared to the way you smoke a cigarette.

Adding VG is a good option, too. You can buy VG at Walmart for $3 for a 6 ounce bottle. It's called Glycerin and is usually on the shelf above the rubbing alcohol products in the pharmacy section. If you buy this, just add about 10 to 20% to a little bit of liquid, mix well, and then fill your cart. You'll want to experiment with the percentage of Glycerin to add. Adding too much will dilute the flavor more than you'd like, but any amount will give you more vapor.

That's exactly how I do it and it's perfect. Honestly, I don't see how it would work well any other way.

Also I am taking slower draws compared even to my Blu. In 2-3 seconds I can get what took me 8-10 sec with my Blu. But the flavor is definitely way stronger.

LOL, I didn't realize that the 306 cartos I have work with the eGo. I was using the 306's for my Blu, and I popped it on the Ego, and worked. Is there any downside to using the 306 on an eGo? Like the atty wearing out faster?

Edit: I just put the same ego atomizer/cart that was giving me the increased TH & massive flavor on my blu battery. TH went to below normal, flavor mellowed out a ton and vapor production vs my blu (stock) increased by 50%.

Yes, some Walmarts still have the bottles with the old label. The label in the picture I included is the new label.

Many liquids are totally different in TH - even from the same supplier. For instance, from FSUSA I have their cappuccino and espresso. You would think similar. Wrong. Cappuccino has a strong TH, espresso does not.

Espresso - very smooth, a lot of taste, low TH.

Cappuccino - strong TH, a bit "peppery" taste (for me).

The two are totally different... Some will like one, some the other. Point being - they are totally different.

Just have to try different things until you discover what you like...

Why is it that I can use the same juice in a eGo atty and cartridge and get the pounding TH/flavor I experienced, but then put the same thing into a 306 carto and put that on the eGo batt and it be perfect? Is it just a higher performing atty compared to the 306?

On liquids, Looks like I'll be broke for awhile cause I want to try so many different flavors! Thankfully most 5ml bottles are pretty cheap.
