I'd love to hear stories from the veterans about how they found out about vaping way back when vaping was brand new and practically unheard of. How did you all even find out about it? And what were the juices like back then? Has there been an evolution in juice as well?
Wow, great thread. Haven't read the whole thing -- just found it, so no time. But I remember most of what people have been talking about, if it happened after I started vaping. Yeah, pretty funny remembering some of that stuff. I started on a 510, with aquarium filter media for filler in the carts. Since I have an aquarium, that was easy. I remember one of the best threads from back in the day:

Man, Scottbee did yoeman work on that one. And back then, a lot of that stuff was just mysterious "black box" voodoo to many people.
I switched to the eGo when the 900mAH came out, and to dripping soon after that. For a while, I was absolutely PO'd at Joye510 atties, and vowed to stop using them, only to return after not finding anything else I liked. These days, I still have some 510 stuff around -- hey, keeping other spare stuff in case all of your 5 tanks and RDA stop working at once seems like a good plan. I now use the Vivi Mini-Nova, and I think I'm going to acquire a Kayfun. And mech mods for me, but nothing high-end. I had 2 Rivas burn up when I tried them on Cisco 1.8 atties, and despite the advances, I still don't want any circuitry between my battery and the coil.
Mostly, I rememeber being very active on ECF back then. These days, not so much. I started the CoVapE group, but it's pretty dead -- I blame Facebook. Well, things change. But I still drop by here and see what happening. But I spent a lot of time reading here before I joined up, and it was most helpful.
I heard about vaping from somebody on another forum, who had quit smoking.
