I didn't catch the name of the tank.
He said he used to use the vivi mini nova by vision but those tasted kind of burnt all of the time so he is now using 'wickless" system and said he'll never go back. He said the flavor was so much better with this tank and that he's had it a couple of months.
Anybody know what this could be?

This is a noname 1.75ohm single coil tank replacement carto, next to my 5ml 'artemas' tank that has the same carto inside, with a silver 'gourd' drip tip(all from madvapes) on my 1100mah ego twist(from cignot). This is how i vape, all day, any juice, rocks my world. The only better flavor i've found is from dripping.

The AMP tank by Avid Vaper. It uses a dripping style atty inside and the flow of juice is controlled by twisting it to open or close the flow. It can also be manually loaded by plugging a hole on the lower ring with your finger and dry pulling on it. They seem to be well thought of from what I've read.

Also some people are putting Killer 705 attys in tanks with adapters on the bottom that allow you to do somewhat the same thing as described above.

You can google up some images and see if either of those setups looks like your buddy's setup.

I doubt that what the OP saw is either of the above. He said the tank he saw had been in use by the owner for a couple of months, and the AMP Tank and Killer have just hit the market in the last 2-3 weeks to my knowledge. Unless they were in a co-op and got an advanced model before general release.

I thought mini vivi nova was supposed to be the best.

You're most likely right. Those carto tank pics didn't seem to be what he saw, so I took a shot at another wickless option. What do you think he saw if it's not a carto tank and it was wickless?

I'll admit the description fits either the AMP or the Killer, but the time line doesn't fit.

And who knows what the OP saw? His previous exposure seems to be limited to viv nova/clearomizers as tanks. Even the guy with the tank may not actually know what he has or was pulling the OP's leg. Could have been a ce3 cartomizer in a tank for all we know.

And it wasn't the OP who said the cartotank pic didn't look like what he saw, it was another poster. Just keeping facts straight.

Yep, tough to say when all one can do is guess.

BTW, I owe you a 'Thank You' for your carto tank blogs and all the help you've been giving members here about tank setups. I just got my first carto tank setup and I'm loving it. I went with a 3.5ml Pro DCT with a single coil 2ohm single hole pre-punched carto. I'm vaping 50/50 pg/vg and it's feeding fine and has been an overall great experience so far. I really thought about going with a Pyrex tank but feared breaking it as I'm still using little ego batts and they don't stand up the best on their own. Kinda the best of both worlds to some extent.

Anyway, thanks for all the knowledge you have shared on this forum, I appreciate it.:toast:

Thank you for the shoutout. Glad the time and hard work I put in to them has paid off for a lot of people. My only regret is that they can't be put in a more easy to find place on ECF for members seeking information and reference material.

Glad to hear your first tank experience was a good one. :)
