I Stopped A 25 Year Bad Habit Thanks To Vaping

Hello, I took up vaping about 2 months ago to kick a 25+ year cigarette habit! It's working because I've not had a cig. in the past two months and do not miss it! I feel better, foods taste so much better. I don't have a smoker's cough like I use to. Any recommendations would be most helpful as far as brands of E-Liquids to try, mods to use, etc. At the moment I am enjoying my Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 with a Aspire Nautilus tank. Innokin Cool Fire 1 and a Kanger eVod VV 1000mah battery with another Aspire Naut. Mini tank. Looking forward to making new friends and reading all the great info being shared!

Welcome to ECF! For E-liquids you can check out the general e liquid section. I'm personally drawn more towards the highest rated ones, like Aliceinvapeland and Nicoticket, as my buddys have let me try some of their juices from them. Always remember to check your local B&M if you have one. And what kind of mods are you looking to get into? Your current set up seems great for someone who doesn't want to tinker too much.

If you're looking to tinker have you thought about Mechanical Mods?

Welcome to ECF! Grats on 2 months. May there be many 2 more months! I used to count the days, then 1 month 1 day etc.After I finally broke myself from that addiction I just never cared to count anymore, as it didn't matter. I was done with smoking/chewing. What a nice relief that is when it comes.

I've been having a good experience with Mt Baker Vapor's flavors. Great prices and great service. The freebies are nice too. Any particular preferences as far as flavor types? Fruity, dessert, mint/menthol, etc?

Personally I'd ditch the store bought juice and invest that money into DIY juice. You save a ton of money in the long run and gain valuable DIY knowledge for the ultimate vaping experience.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and warm welcome. So far the juices I have bought come from Taste, Totally Wicked, Five Pawns, Space Jam, Liberty Flights, Sicboy, Decadent Vapors, Halo & Mount Baker Vapor. My favorites of these have to be from Sicboy Ltd. Sicboy had two flavor choices. M.B.Y.C which is a extra creamy pralines and cream with a vanilla custard back note.and Sicker Than Most which is a creamy strawberry/tangerine with a hint of blueberry. Full of flavor!

As far as what I like in a good ejuice goes along with me being a tobacco pipe smoker for the past 10 years too. I've tried so many baccy blends like aromatics, English blends, Virginias and the like. I've noticed it must be very hard for companies to come up with a 'true' tobacco flavor. I've not found any yet. I like some drink flavors with rum, vodka etc. I am a big fan of stawberry/kiwi with cream. Anything as long as it's not too sweet. Maple, hazelnut are excellent.

Downtown - Yes I have thought about trying out Mech Mods and just yesterday placed an order for a (copper) Vanilla Mechanical Mod kit for both size batteries and a (copper) Mephisto Atomizer.

Scy123 - Yuppers! I have been actually thinking of tryiing to make my own juices and doing the research. I have been working as a Quality Assurance Analyst for 20+ yearsin the food Inn. I always do lots of research before attempting anything new to me. There is one aromatic tobacco blend on the market i plan on trying to turn into a ejuice if possible. Very interesting blend it would be and something I have never seen in a eliquid.

Congratz on not smoking. I just started to vape 3 days ago and and haven't smoked a cigarette since. I know 3 days is not long, but its the longest i have went since i started smoking 40 yrs ago. Other then some nasty headaches, it has been pretty easy so far.

Well done Steven... I kicked a 33 year smoking habit and it's been 20 months since I last smoked and took up vaping. Try a variety of e-liquids but don't be quick to chuck out the ones you don't initially like as your taste buds change over time you may like them later.
