I have an mvp and I only started vaping a week ago. I understand that when it is finished. Charging, the green light shuts off. However, mine doesn't turn off no matter how long I plug it in. Also mine works with the power switch off or on, the only way I can turn it off is to hit the button three times. So what is the purpose for the on off button?

The switch at the bottom is to charge another device like a cellphone off the mvp battery, not to turn the mvp on and off.
As for it remaining charging, how long are you charging it for? Watching a battery charge is like watching paint dry. I charge mine at night. I wake up and its done. It probably goes to a trickle charge for the last x %

pretty sure the green light is supposed to be ON when charging and steady when it is at a full charge. also, the on/off switch on the bottom is for the aux output for charging a cellphone or other devices, the way you turn an mvp on or off is by multi clicking the fire button. both of those all come down to personal taste. I much preffer a high vg blend (90%+) but it does not work well in most tanks (i use a dripper) and as far as the settings go, when i had an MVP2.0 paired with an aerotank, i preffered it to be around its max wattage setting 12 or 15 watts (i cant remember) and the airflow wide open.
Was wondering what is best for my coils and what is a good ohm reading? Mine is usually 1.9 to 2.2
I know my questions may seem crazy but like I said, I have only been vaping for one week. My daughter mailed me the device but No instructions. I wanted to try vaping, so maybe I could stop smoking. A week ago, I was smoking over two packs a day. But now that I have found that I love vaping I only have three cigarettes a day. I think every smoker should try vaping.it's great! If I can just learn the lingo
it should ohm out to whatever it says on the coil, usually +/- a few tenths. and the higher power you run, the faster you will go through coils and juice, that being said, your juice of choice has much more affect on the longevity of your coils than how much power you put to them.
your questions are perfectly normal! you got this! it is a fun hobby, and it is (in my opinion) the best way to stop the stinkys

The green light on the MVP should go off when it's fully charged. It will take a few hours to charge completely.
Everyone around me is amazed at how fast this change has come about. From smoking 50 cigarettes a day, down to three a day. All I can do is smile and tell them that vaping is much better. And all this in 6 days.
keep with it! I had a rough time after the 2 week mark, i was coughing and weezing a lot and thought it was the e cigs, i almost went back to the analogs but managed to keep with it. My weezing and such cleared up within a week, and i assume it was part of my lungs healing themselves, making me cough up lots of nasty junk. Good luck!
