My husband has terrible allergies and HATES cigarette smoke. It bothers him even in restaurants when the smoking section isn't nearby.
However, I can vape in my house and even in his truck with the windows up and it doesn't bother him at all. He sometimes says he can smell a bit of a sweet smell and that's it. It did kind of freak him out at first because he saw the vapor and forgot I'd quit smoking and thought I'd lit one up in his brand new truck
. He was about to yell at me and then remembered it was my vaporizer and he couldn't smell anything from it, nor is it going to leave residue or a smoke smell in his truck.
I also have vaped over at my mother in law's house and she's an ex smoker for about 15 yrs and hates cigarette smoke. She doesn't even notice I'm doing it most of the time and can't smell anything from it.
So don't feel uncomfortable to do it inside. It's NOT smoke and it's not going to smell like smoke to anyone (my husband has said he has smelled a tobacco smell a couple of times, but kind of like sniffing a pack of tobacco, not like burning tobacco, and the smell goes away after a couple of seconds. Plus he can only smell it like that when I'm practically blowing it in his face.).
