If you can convert a couple friends/family members, it will make your quitting analogs just that much easier. I had to endure a few weeks of "ridicule" from fellow smokers before I got the first one to "see the light".

Funny today, I was offered an ashtray at a place I frequent for lunch (I knew the bartender but she had not been at work since I started vaping) her reaction was priceless.

I really want my mom to stop the tobacco. She's recently been diagnosed with heart problems and needs 4 stints and 3 valves replaced and scheduled for surgery in first week of January. It would be perfect for her to start her new life with a better heart and no analogs! I will keep working on her =) Wish me luck!

Give her a trial one in her stocking for Christmas: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...t-free-ecigarette-before-christmas-hurry.html I got one for the same type of reason. $1.17 for shipping.

I had let my sister take a toot off my joye 510 today. It was funny as she took a long slow draw off of it, she went WOW and began to cough abit. She took a lung hit. Well, that one toot and she wants one, so I,m gonna get her one for xmas. She is a longtime smoker and I am hopefull this may make her cut way back and quit. Its so fun to have people be sceptical, then let them try it out and get that reacton.

Cassie...I wish you and your mom the best!

Lol, my dad had the same reaction. He took a long draw, starts coughing, and goes "WOW! It can even make you cough like a real cigarette!"
When I let my mom take a couple of hits (vanilla) she just said "I like that! It's really tasty!"

So now both are really interested and my dad is planning on ordering a kit for each of them plus some juices. If he doesn't do it soon though I'm just going to have to order it for them :p .

My dad also has heart problems and has had two angioplasties, so I'd really love for him to get off the cigarettes. My mom has had no major issues from it as of yet, but she's not as old as him and I know it will catch up to her sooner or later.

I've only been vaping for a few days so I'm still getting the "I heard on the news those are really bad for you". Really? Where? Show me where you heard that! I reposted the BU article on my FB. I've had a few people ask about it but no ones seems interested. All I know is that my Hubby, who HATES smoking, is happy I'm vaping now. He's been trying to get me to quit for 15 years. We are the only ones that have to like it anyway. He's still a little unsure about me doing it in the house but so am I really. ;)

BTW thanks, I ordered a free e-cig. Figure I can have in on hand in case any of my friends or family seem really interested. Maybe I'll put it in the Yankee Swap at my family X-mas party. ;)

My husband has terrible allergies and HATES cigarette smoke. It bothers him even in restaurants when the smoking section isn't nearby.

However, I can vape in my house and even in his truck with the windows up and it doesn't bother him at all. He sometimes says he can smell a bit of a sweet smell and that's it. It did kind of freak him out at first because he saw the vapor and forgot I'd quit smoking and thought I'd lit one up in his brand new truck . He was about to yell at me and then remembered it was my vaporizer and he couldn't smell anything from it, nor is it going to leave residue or a smoke smell in his truck.

I also have vaped over at my mother in law's house and she's an ex smoker for about 15 yrs and hates cigarette smoke. She doesn't even notice I'm doing it most of the time and can't smell anything from it.

So don't feel uncomfortable to do it inside. It's NOT smoke and it's not going to smell like smoke to anyone (my husband has said he has smelled a tobacco smell a couple of times, but kind of like sniffing a pack of tobacco, not like burning tobacco, and the smell goes away after a couple of seconds. Plus he can only smell it like that when I'm practically blowing it in his face.).

Thanks a lot! I'll have him read this. ;) Does anyone feel comfortable vaping around your kids that didn't smoke around them? There is very little study on the safety of the "second-hand vape".

Thanks for the tip! Got one ordered but shipping was $3.95 LOL maybe their system doesn't like me =) Still a bargain to me and will be great in the stocking!

Still a cheap price. They had to hire some extra staff to get the orders out because they didn't expect so much response. They had to up the "& handling" part to compensate, LOL. I gave mine to a co-worker for her sister who will be planning on getting pregnant soon. She wants to see if they'll work to get her down to 0 nicotine.
