I tried a DSE901 about a year ago, in an attempt to get off analogs. The auto batteries were very inconstant, I think I was getting juice into them. I don’t drip but I did keep the cartridges wet trying to get good vapor. When I tried to quit with the 901, I didn’t start with enough batteries, juice, atomizers and was always running out of something. I finally ran out of will power and went back to my analogs.

I recently bought a Joye 510, I like the vapor and I’m experimenting with different strength juices. The batteries on the 510 are not going to work for me, unless I have a bunch, and the cartridges do seem to need constant attention. I plan on using the 510 as a back-up because I don’t think the batteries will hold up with constant vaping.

Things I need help/advice with.
Like everyone I’m on a budget and can’t dump a lot of money into this, at least not until I’m off analogs and saving some of that money.
Will the pen style cartridges last noticeable longer then on my previous choices?

I’m leaning towards the Janty Stick, for larger 350mh battery, and larger cartridges but don’t want to end up with less vapor/heat then my current 510. Opinions??

My first experience with auto batteries was bad and I think I should avoid them??

I could just carry 2 complete 510s and 4 extra batteries, but that seams like a lot of hassle, do a lot of people do that?? Any tips on keeping all that organized??

Quality issues are scaring me away from the 905, I see mixed reviews on it, opinions??

What other big battery PVs can you recommend, for a low budget, but I can’t afford something that may be frail or low quality.

Spending less then $90 what would you recommend??
Thanks, and all take all the input I can get.

A 510 on a BB at altsmokes.com is doable. I'm a heavy vapor my son got a BB, let me borrow it. the 14500 900mah battery lasted me longer than 4 mega batteries lasted me in a normal day. For what I spent on batteries I could have bought a Mod. I tried it on his PT at 5v it was amazing but at regular 3.7 volt it is a constant high production vape as if I had been putting on a new battery every hour. Good luck and happy vaping. By the way it is nice and small in size nothing huge.

I would tell you to get a Joye510 Starter kit. It comes with 2 batteries. 2 atties. and 5 carts. Then get you about 3 more batteries.

Or look in the Classifieds and find a good deal on a mod that you like. Make sure it is compatible to what you have now (510). Be sure to get batteries and a charger too............and get you some good juices.

I got my wife a 510 S.K. some time ago and she isn't a heavy vaper, but it lasts her all day with 2 batteries.

Accessories usually depend on how light or heavy a vaper you are.

You can get a Chuck for $80 shipped, with a 801, 901, or 510 atty connector. They are hand made and built like a brick ..... house. You will have to buy batteries separately. I bought 3000 mAh batteries and they last me 2 full days. You can also get the Chuck customized with any graphic you want on them at no extra charge.

I went to Janty Stick from a 510, and while I wasn't disappointed, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. The 10440 (AAA) battery isn't necessarily a powerhouse.

So, I scanned the classified and suppliers forum and bought a 510 box mod that uses a 14500 (AA) battery. Then I bought a 510 battery to 808 cart adapter, and bought a pack of cartomizers. This way, I could use the 510 atties that I already had, but I could also try the cartomizers which hold 1ml of liquid. I'm getting adequate vapor production and throat hit from the cartomizers, and I like the convenience.

Then you just carry your device, an extra battery or 2, and a handful of cartos.

My current go to setup is a little chuck with an 18350 battery, using cartomizers with the adapter. And in 2 words..... It Rocks. Exactly what I was looking for, but is a bit pricey. Worth every penny for durability however.

Got all my batteries, chargers, adapters from MadVapes and my cartomizers from Vapor4Life.

Hope this helps.

Get a Bartelby:) See mooby's review:) Solid and dependable, batts last a whole day with consistent vape:D
RIMP:evil:

This Bartleby cost $50. The other power supply mods tend to run way too costly for me. Basically they seem to run $30 to $50 bucks more for a different form, and same function.

for the video review
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/video-reviews/43943-bartleby-pv-review.html

If anyone knows other power supply mods that run for less than $50 with the same output I'd be interesting in seeing them.

I'd also throw in a vote for the eGo from janty...it uses 510 atties so you can use the ones you have already..they are 650 mAh batteries sothey last a good deal of time...later you can add a mega atty and cart if you like...or a 510 to carto adapter and use cartos if you like..but it's a good stock solution for right now that can use what you have already and be built and expanded upon..
