They'll work. However....

When it comes to any electronic device a little knowledge will make your life much easier. Cartos and attys have a ohm rating to help you dial in your vaping experience. The higher the number the more voltage you can add. For an ego I like the stuff that comes in the 1.5 to 2.0 range. This will give you more vapor, a warmer feeling, and a much better throat hit. Using 3.0 on an ego will work, but you'll have to hold down your button longer and take a much slower drag to get the same results. My wife on the other hand uses stuff in the 2.4 to 2.8 range because that's what she likes. I only use 3+ ohm stuff on my 6v mod. It will all come down to preference. I would suggest you order some 2.0 cartos which you can get a 5 pack of for around 8 bucks or so and compare the two. If neither one is "perfect" try something else. You'll find what you like soon enough. Unfortunately there is no universal vape that everyone can agree on. You'll just have to try it untill you find your sweet spot.

Ego, Riva etc can use either the 3.0 or 2.0. All batteries >450mah can use either. Skinny little ecigs can only use 3.0.

I use 3.0 mainly because I also vape the little 510 manuals and like to move the cartos back and forth. I don't have to worry which are which. The 2.0's can damage a skinny little ecig batteries. You can use either. The 2.0's are hotter and use charge faster.

I read somewhere on this forum that the 3.0 is better for sweet or fruit vapors while the lower ohm like 2.0 are better for tobacco flavors. I've got both and usually stick to that format just because I read it. Personally I can't tell that much difference. Both are sufficent to keep me away from an analog and that's what I really care about anyway.

Thank you so much everyone! Sorry it took me so long to reply to this, but I've been busier than a one legged woman at a .... kicking contest today. Ok, sweet...happy to know, and learned a little something in the process. I seem to prefer the fruity/delicate flavors, so this will work well. I'll pick up of a package of 2.0's eventually :)
