i posted on another subforum and got no responses - ALL of my Volt X2 batteries kind of crapped the bed this week. all at the same time. i don't understand. hence i figured i'd go high end (and will take suggestions if you have them)

otherwise i am just going to get a provari mini. what do i need to purchase along with it. there's so much information i just need to know what of the zillions of things on there to order.

thanks!

Along with the Provari, you'll want some batteries and a charger to charge those batteries. The mini without the extension cap uses 18350's and with the extension cap (you can get one at the same time you get the Provari) it can use the 18490's. At a minimum, you'll want two of whatever battery size you go with.

What do you currently use as your juice delivery system? Cartos, Clearo's, a tank? If what you currently have isn't 510 threaded you'll either need an adapter, such as a 510 to eGo adapter, or you'll need to buy something that has 510 threading. Such as a Protank or some cartomizers.

The provari mini uses 18350 batteries so you would need a couple maybe even 4 of them depending on how much you will use it. A charger that will safely charge 18350's as well obviously.

You might think about getting the extension cap so you can use 18500 batteries as they will last considerably longer than the 18350's but make the device longer overall.

Provari recommends cleaning the contacts on the device like once a week with 99% alcohol so pick up some of that and some longer q-tips. There is also something called Noalox, some of that is a good thing to have and a little goes a long way.

Also need to think about what atomizer your have currently and will it work with the ProVari. ProVape has divices that will work and there are hundreds more on other sites that will work well.

The Zap pro genesis style rebuildable style atty is awesome. The eBaron Pro dripper is awesome on the ProVari...

Hope this helps.

Hey Brandy, fellow Marylander here. You need some 18350 batteries (2 or 3) and a charger. They also sell an adapter that will fit some of your smaller shaped clearos like the T3. You can get an extender cap on the end if you want to run a bigger battery. I don't use one because I like to keep the Provari more pocketable. You can get a beauty ring that makes some of the larger tank systems look nicer. Mostly importantly you need some good juice and your favorite delivery system. I'm partial to protanks, but everyone is different. They have different wraps and stuff on the provape site if you want to change the look. Excellent choice. The Provari is very reliable. Good luck. It is money well spent IMO.

I have the regular size Provari with the ext. cap. 2 18650 bats., a dual port charger and several Kanger protanks. I find that with the 18650 and the protank attached I need not have to worry about bat. life (lasts over a day of vaping) and n the protank holds more than enough juice to last me a full day. I charge my bat every night (only takes a couple of hours)
I purchased this set up as my 1st device as a super NUBE about 2 months ago and it has never failed me. If you get the protank get some extra replacement bases as they can break at the tread, they are cheap

i really don't understand half of what's written here. it's all jargon! (and no, i am not stupid, i am just lost) unfortunately the manufacturer websites are the same way!

so it doesn't come with batteries, a charger, or anything to hold your juice - WHAT THE HELL IS IT THEN?

i currently use X2s and T3s from Volt. i'm always unhappy with all my vaping stuff. it always burns out so quickly. i don't clean, rebuild, any of that. i want to put my juice in it & vape it. and then i buy a new whatever because i don't want to fool with it.

Hi Brandy I just got my Provari yesterday and I love love love it lol. I got the full size in satin black with the satin black extender cap so I can use 18650's to get more vape time. You will need to buy batteries for your provari either 18350 button top aw imr or an 18490 aw imr if you buy the extender cap. I did not notice that the provari needed a button top and purchased a flat top so make sure it has the button. You will also need to get a battery charger I would recommend getting at least a two dock charger as you will probably end up using it. Again not knowing I have a single dock charger and had to replace it with a 4 dock another beginners mistake. One last thing you will need is a 510 to ego adapter so you can use your clearos that have ego threading connectors. Hope this helped I know it can be fairly overwhelming when your trying to jump into a new device. Good luck and I'm sure you will love It I love my provari!

The provari is just a battery holder with a microprocessor inside. The rest of the supplies need to be purchased separately.

Batteries, Charger, Noalox (Thread Lube), and ISO 91%+ (Clean Threads/Battery Connection).

Provari is just a power system. It's a variable voltage device (you can increase or decrease the power) that resembles a mini mag light. The batteries go inside like a flashlight and you attach whatever tank, cartomizer or whatever you prefer to the top. It gives you endless choices though and you will probably want to try several to figure out what you like best. I hope this helps.

No need for confusion. I have fairly tiny hands also and the mini fits my hands like a glove.
For the ProVari all you will need is a couple of batteries. When you buy it all your buying it the body. You have to buy batteries to go IN the ProVari. These are the 18350 size. I suggest at least 2.
You will need a charger for the 18350 batteries .

There is a complete kit for sale on the ProVape site. This is what you need.

Then you will need the top part that holds you e-liquid. I am sure you have been using something you like so if you have a tank you like there is no need to buy something else unless the threads are not 510. In that case you will need an adapter but that is cheap.

seriously, don't know what a hybrid is, i don't know why i'd want it longer than it already is (provari mini already looks quite large, right?) i am a 4'10 3/4" woman. i have tiny baby hands.

i don't know what a dock is. seriously i sound like an idiot.

Awww... Brandy I know exactly how you feel. :( I know what an eGo battery is, I know what a clearomiser is and I know what e-liquid is. The rest is double Dutch to me! Oh! I know what a charger is as well! ;)

Its a shame that everything is so complicated. All the numbers and letters, it makes me dizzy!

I'm only on day 3 of vaping, but I know that I will want to upgrade at some stage. I hope you figure out what to order and when the time comes hopfully you can advise me! :)

Best of luck. I hope you find what your looking for. Sorry that I can't help, but I'm totally lost........

Yeah, all of the jargon can be a bit daunting at first. Take that away and it really isn't that complicated. So, here's a part list with links that will get you a functioning Provari setup. Just add juice and you're ready to vape:

Qty: Item:
1 Provari Mini (Your color choice obviously)
2 18350 Batteries
1 Battery Charger
1 ProTank
1 ProTank Replacement Head Pack

Ah! Now this is what I like! :) These links are REALLY handy! I'm gonna bookmark this for when I need it. Thanx VangOgh! :)

OMG thank you!!!

BTW I have been vaping for >1.5 years. like i said, it's not my hobby -- it's just my nicotine delivery system. i have SO much other stuff to deal with that it isn't something i really want to know EVERYTHING about.

What can i also buy to adapt to my volt t3 clearomizers? because I have some of those too. AFAIK they don't fit on my ego because i got the same kind for those and the bottoms don't match.

It looks like Smokeless Image uses a proprietary connector for the t3 clearomizers. So, I'm not sure you'd be able to find an adapter that would make it work. But, my information is just based off of a simple google search. So, maybe someone with actual experience will chime in with a more concrete answer.

The Mini Provari is actually one of the smallest variable voltage (you can adjust the voltage to suit each flavor you use, just like a Spinner or Twist) APV's (advanced personal vaporizor or "mod") available on the market. It's about the same length as a 650 mAh eGo Twist or Volt X2, but thicker in diameter, as you can see in the second pic below:

Mini Provari 2.jpgmini-&-twist.jpgMini Provari v2.jpg478_0.jpg

The Mini Provari is full featured:

*It allows you to change voltage to taste.
*Measure your clearomizer or cartomizer's ohm with a built-in multimeter.
*Measure your battery's remaining voltage level with a built-in voltage meter.
*Alerts you when your battery is low by blinking the fire button.
*Allows you to turn the device off when in transport in a purse or pocket, should you wish.
*Has technology that allows it to have the same voltage delivered to your juice device for the entire life of the battery, so there is no drop-off in satisfaction from the time you install a new battery until it requires replacement.
*Is one of the safest e-cigarettes made as far as built-in protection goes.
*Has a longer warranty (1 year) than most APVs. Even after the warranty expires, the company will service your Provari for as long as you own it at reasonable cost. Typical service turnaround is 1 week.
*Is extremely well made, dependable, consistant, and durable. It should last you years of use.

I can walk you through the ordering process. Here's what you would need to order:

Mini Provari in your choice of color. Any color other than the standard silver will cost more; the colored Provari's are painted by an outside contractor and costs Provape to do so; Provape passes this cost on to just those customers who desire a colored Provari.

Your choice of color LED display window. Standard color is red letters. Blue and green letters again cost Provape more in parts, and is passed on to the customers who prefer not to have red lettering.

Optional battery extended end cap. The default Mini uses a red Aw 18350 IMR battery. Having the extended end cap would allow you to use the next size up battery for longer battery time with a red Aw 18490 IMR battery. This purchase is optional, and you can always order the extended end cap at a later date should you wish to.

Batteries: Aw 18350 IMR batteries. I recommend three to keep in rotation. Each one should provide at least 7 hours of use between charges, and overall lifetime for the batteries should be about 1 year. http://www.provape.com/AW-IMR-Batteries-18350-p/aw18350.htm

Should you decide to also purchase the extended battery cap, you'll need the larger size battery: the AW 18490 IMR battery. I'd suggest 2 of these. These batteries should provide at least 11 hours of use between charges. http://www.provape.com/AW-18490-Battery-p/aw18490.htm

Battery recharger. Battery Charger for Electronic Cigarettes

Kanger ProTank clearomizer. This will get you started vaping from the start. Easy to fill and use. ProTank Bottom Coil Glass Clearomizer

The following video tutorial is for the standard size Provari, but the Mini is exactly the same device, only shorter and using shorter batteries.
