Hi All,
I think I've thrown away enough money on e-cigarettes. It's been a year and many hundreds of dollars & I'm getting an ulcer. All I want is an e-cig that looks & handles approximately like the real deal. AND is NOT a POS. (I'm not interested in trying to smoke a pen or screwdriver. I find it hard enough to hold the super minis in my mouth when I need both hands, thank you.)

I was fairly happy with the 1481(?) until the only batteries I was able to locate were pure junk. 2 puffs & auto clean cycle kicks in, as an example. Ok, so I went ahead & bought 2 901 starter kits + 2 extra atomizers from Ruyan Direct. They arrived in record time. I've been using them for about 10 days. Yesterday an atomizer died. I mean DEAD. Stone cold with a newly charged battery. It was working well then wham. Today another atomizer died the same way. I figure I can expect 3 & 4 to die tomorrow & the next day. The batteries? I charge for 8 to 10 hrs. 10 days ago 2 batteries lasted me 6 to 8 hrs, now 3 hrs max. I figure in 10 days they'll be done for.

I am so tired of being made a fool of by these manufacturers. It's obvious to me that quality control & manufacturing standards are either unknown to them or they simply could give a flying... I think it's the later.

If I hadn't wanted this to work, I never would have put up with this crap for 12 long months. I'm beginning to think the sellers & manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank.

BTW Ruyan Direct offered to replace the atomizers at a cost to me of $4.50 for shipping slow boat back & forth to China. You gotta be kidding. I should spend more money for more crappy products? I was born one day but it wasn't yesterday. (Even though, I've been acting like it with e-cigs.)

I would love for someone to prove me wrong. I would be happy with a 2 batteries & 2 atomizers that would last 1 month. I would like it to be replaced completely free of charge if it doesn't or give me my money back. You sell or make junk, you pick up the shipping.

I think I'll have to use nicotine lozenges for my nic addiction & an occasional real cig when I can't take it anymore.

To the manufactures: Get yourselves another sucker, after isn't another one born every minute?

Doris

Howdy Doris;

Your obviously frustrated, and to be frank, you're really ...... off.

There's probably not much anyone can say at this point, but if you want to take a little time out and relax, maybe things will look brighter. I'm not going to push the e-cig down your throat, but if you think about it and decide to change your mind, I'd be glad to help as much as I can to get you back on track. And I know there are others here that will jump in too.

With that said, I'll leave it up to you. I'm here is you want to give it another shot.

Cheers;

Have you been vaping instead of smoking for a year? If yes, you are now basically off cigarettes, aren't you? The problems you described with atomizers and batteries are nothing new, most of us experience them in one way or another. I accepted these types of problems because e-cigs are the only thing that allowed me to stop smoking analogs, so the trade-off is excellent for me. But it is very possible that after a year I would feel differently and would stop vaping completely. I am actually hoping that would happen after a year or two -- that I will be so used to not smoking and the hassle with vaping will not be worth it anymore.

I could understand someone, anyone, getting frustrated with the lack of quality of these things. They are not maintenance-free and they are not Cadillacs as I'm fond of saying.

And, I could understand someone getting bad equipment over and over again. I think you've been terribly unlucky.

Before you toss it all away, I wonder if you might consider looking at the 510 model that Innovapor offers. It's only slightly bigger than a super-mini and the mouth piece is flattened a bit so holding it between your lips is easy.

It's a very basic kit, just one atomizer and one battery but it comes with e-juice, carts both filled and blanks, free shipping and it's only $25.

Good luck to you no matter which way you go.

I don't think anyone can really convince you.
But I for one, can wish you the best in whatever works for you. Sorry you have had such bad luck for the past year. I have only been at this for about 3 mo. and must be one of the lucky ones because I have yet to have anything except 1 battery (DOA) go wrong.
(I have the 510,SD and 901) I guess if all I did was fight with it all for a whole year, I would give up too.
Good Luck

Hi, I'm new to the e-cig and would be greatful to any help on where to buy refill juice? The carts don't last as long as they told me they would :(
Thanks again in advance for any help...

There's numerous places to purchase the liquid (see Sponsoring Suppliers or the suppliers forums), and everybody posting here has their favorites. What I'd do if just starting out again is look for the supplier with the best shipping and juice prices, then do a quick search to uncover any dirt on them. If they come up clean, place an order.

I've had almost no problems with the half dozen or so different suppliers I've tried.

Howdy Pete;

I did some back tracking on Doris, and found she's totally frustrated right now. She had a 4081 and started to have trouble with it. She asked for help and stated that she did not want an SD, Janty Stick or any other type of mod. She wanted her mini to work.

So about a half dozen people came in and told her to buy an SD, Janty Stick, and a few other mods. She freaked.

We'll try to help her if she comes back.

Welcome. The length of time a cart last is grossly over exagerated, as a rule. There are a few suppliers that offer samplers very inexpensively so you can try a variety of flavors before spending a fortune on something you might not like. One that comes to mind is Nuvape E-Cig Refill Juice - Home. I believe he still offers free shipping as well.

I tried NuVape and I didn't like it at all. It was very bad tasting. Read the thread on them. Most of the suppliers on this forum have threads. By the way so far Totally Wicked (Expensive) Vapor Station (Medium High) have very good product. Jc is liked by many and has an Awesome starter pack.

I'm currently have orders from nhaler Nhale coming in he has a real following and great prices. Also ordered from e-smokey treats they are the closest to me and I'm almost out of juice.
Nhaler was great I actually called him. Drew is a real good guy. Shipped the same day too!!

As for equipment. Try the DSE-801 or the M201 parts are really cheap. The battery and cartridge life is very long. Even if they break down at $10.00 and Atomizer and $12.00 a battery it's pretty economical to keep it running.

You may need a more heavy duty machine. Also the 510 has raves all over the forums.

Good Luck.

Holy Cow Doris!!

I, as well as many feel you frustration! When I lost my 901 battery, I was totally ticked…(almost as ticked when my electric roller set died). But I have learned to have PLENTY (!!!) of backups for my 901,501, and RN4081. The costs? Well 6 weeks ago I was spending over $72.00 a week for my Capri 120 menthols and I do not know what those cartons cost now after the tax increase…nor care…. HaHa.

There are wonderful suppliers in the US that will help you. There are also great people on this forum too, as well as other e-cig forums.

All I am trying to tell you is that this device is relatively new and still has a lot of evolving to do. After 36 years of smoking, this device has given me the opportunity to quit…and it has been a glorious 6 weeks vaping. (I am no longer a smoker!)

As wisely stated already, the choice is always yours.

I have a suggestion. There is a company called Fixx that supply Gamucci ad they have a 1 year warranty and if something breaks they pay for shipping. I had an atomizer go bad and they sent me a new one three days later. I didnt even have to send in the old one. I ended upgading to the 510, the Gamucci was great at first, but my need for more vapor grew after a while. So now Im on the 510, and soon the Prodigy! WoooHoo!

The website is http://www.fixxnashville.com/

Let me know if you have any questions, send me a pm.
