Find out about FT and ordered a kayfun v3.1 clone and that's going to be a couple of weeks till that and experiment on how to build the coils.. Ordered a protank2 they sent me the mini so opened it and tried was better than the evod they going to send me another one.. No picture on that forgot it at home...Now I'm looking at getting a iTaste MVP 2.0 with the iClear30 and the list goes on....

One question i wanted to order some juices from MBV but i'm stumped on the PG/VG levels... Don't know what to get?
Also Steeping the liquid does it need to be open for a couple of days in a dark room or how does that work?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Pg/Vg levels are kind of a personal choice, but I always tell new people to start with 50/50 . The more PG the stronger the throat hit. As far as steeping I normally pop the cap and dripper off for 12-24 hours , recap and let sit for min 1 week then start testing. Some need more than others. Also, I shake the bottles whenever I think about it. Hope this helps and congrats on quitting the ciggies !

What's the difference between PG eliquid, VG e-liquid, PG/VG Mix?

Vegetable Glycerin (VG) e-liquid is a thick, a little sweet liquid. VG e-liquid produces luscious clouds of vapor. VG e-liquid also imparts a sweeter taste to your liquid.

Propylene Glycol (PG) e-liquid is a much thinner liquid. PG e-liquid produces more of a “throat hit” than VG e-liquid does, which simulates the feel of smoking better. PG e-liquid also has a higher rate of sensitivity for some people, meaning that some people just can’t use PG in their vape.

PG e-liquid tends to give you a better throat hit and a lot more flavor. VG e-liquid on the other hand, allows your atomizer to produce a lot more vapor. Now, VG e-liquid is a thicker and more sticky fluid, and although most people do not show signs of allergy with VG, there are minority groups who complain about having phlegm buildup in their throats. The more VG e-liquid you use, the less of a throat hit you’re going to get – that’s the general idea.

What's the different between PG eliquid, VG e-liquid, PG/VG Mix? how to choose PG or VG e-liquid?

So it boils down to preference and trial and error?

Not every juice needs to be steeped. Some are okay right out of the mailbox (unless it is really cold outside, then I let mine sit a day). That said...mostly the tastes get better as time goes on so steeping is a plus.

We in South Texas it doesn't get cold over here... a cold front for us is a heat wave for you guys....

Congrats on being smoke free for 2 months Guero3384! That's an accomplishment. I am still trying to figure out the pg/vg mix I like best but I stay away from heavy pg mixes as they do not agree with me.

As far as steeping is concerned, I put my bottles caps off on a bookshelf that gets no light in a room that's 65*F for a week or so and I have definitely noticed a stronger flavor after steeping.

I have an MVP 2 and I am really digging it. It does what I need it to do and feels great in my hand. The charge seems to last days. I just got an Igo-w so I could try coil building. I made my first coil last night and it sucked. Came out to be 3.2 Ohms and I was hoping for half that lol. I used the wire that came with my Igo-w. No idea what gauge it was but it was the thickness of a hair and broke very easily. After more research I'll order some wire and try again.

Yup, you're gonna love it. Welcome and hope you're finding what you need here.

I'd suggest you start low, say 3.8 or so, and dial to taste. You'll get the hang of what you like to vape different head ohms at but every juice is different as is your palate throughout the day. Can't go wrong with dial to taste.

I'd suggest 28 if you are wrapping for RDAs, 30 or 32 if you are wrapping coils for heads on tanks like Protanks and such or RBAs. Just seems to work best for me. Can get inexpensive good Kanthal on amazon, I like Temco a lot myself.

And hello and welcome to a fellow M.......!

^^ This!
In the mornings I tend to vape at a low voltage (3.8) than I do later in the day (4.2), especially if I'm vaping just one flavor all day. It helps a little with the taste bud burnout. Also make sure you stay hydrated ... vape tongue sucks!
