My sister moved in with us for a short time as she gets settled up here in Indiana. When she moved up here 3 weeks ago, DH and I gave her her own e-cigs. She hasn't smoked an analog since the minute she started vaping. She has now basically gone on a one woman crusade to convert every smoker she knows or meets to vaping, and dang if she isn't doing it. She has so far converted one for sure and has another 10 lined up I think.
Now she's insisting that I actually go into business selling e-cigs and making e-juice for the masses of converts that she's lining up.
DH and I DIY our own e-juice and I've been making it for 3 of our personal friends that we had converted as well. As much as I enjoy DIY'ing our e-juice and trying out new combinations of flavors, I don't think I would be able to pass mustard on an FDA inspection if it came down to that.
I am very exact in my measurements, using syringes for accurate measurements of ingredients and all, but I'm only doing a very clean mixing operation here at my diningroom table. Being a nurse and DH having been in the medical field at one time, we are both quite comfortable with mixing and know that we are keeping things to a pretty high standard as far as inhome mixing goes. To tell the truth, we have seriously considered a brick and morter store for selling e-cigs, accessories, e-juice and possibly other smokeless alternatives in. But until we know for sure how things are going to go with the FDA and the classification of e-cigs, we're sort of keeping that idea on a back burner for the moment.
If things go in our favor as far as the classification of e-cigs as a tobacco product and they are regulated as such, then we just might open a brick and morter store here in Southern Indiana. Of course we would have to find a good supplier of e-juice in that case, one that was FDA approved and was reasonable in their prices for bulk purchases ... lol. I personally would love to own our own business since I can no longer work as a nurse due to an injury that prevents me from being able to be on my feet for very long without causing severe pain.
