When I smoke an analog I suck it in all the way to my toes and hold it in (like I'm smoking a joint ) because I want the head rush. I only have to take 3 hits and can put it out. I miss this with vaping so does dripping give more of that instant nic fix?

It does not give me the head rush like "hotboxing" as I call it from a normal cig. Dripping does make it so I get a more satisfying vapor and I don't have to take as many puffs to curb my nic cravings. Hope that helps.

I can't even remember the last time I used a cartridge. Well, that's not true . . . I've tried a few cartridge mods, but I quickly go right back to dripping.

All my batteries are manual and sealed, so I don't have the concern about trashing batteries. But even back in the day when I had automatic batteries, I would drip from time to time (very carefully, I might add). It was my guilty secret because the word back then was not only would I kill my battery (a distinct possibility), but I'd also shorten the life of my atomizer (not true, as it turns out).

A lot of folks resist the idea of direct dripping. For some, they are quite happy with how their cartridges perform. (I envy them.) Others complain that it's too messy and time consuming. Heck, I find that it's really no more messy or time consuming than when I'd pull out a lighter to fire up my cigarette back in the old days. :) For me, dripping a couple of drops provides just the right amount of vaping time . . . and when the vapor weakens, that's when I put down my PV for a bit.

The only exception I make to dripping nowadays is when I use a cartomizer. Cartomizers are WONDERFUL for when I'm driving or otherwise doing something that requires my full attention. Other than that, I'm a dedicated dripper.

The way I drip is I put a couple of drops on the metal wick that kind of sticks up in the middle of the atomizer. (It looks kind of like a metal bridge.) For me, it works just fine if I get it anywhere in the general vicinity of the metal wick, but the best is to get it directly on the bridge, one drop at a time.

You then put an empty mouthpiece on the atomizer--no cartridge filler or anything. (Many atomizers ship with an empty mouthpiece.)

I rarely use more than two drops . . . the more you add, the more you risk flooding your atomizer. Not a tragedy, of course, but it does get messy and time consuming to blow out a flooded atomizer. ;)

I'm a 'dripper' too, but I do use a cart...

Some folks seem to do just fine dripping and using a cartridge. Personally, I found that the flavor was better direct dripping and no cartridge. I am also far less likely to flood my atomizer when I drip without cartridges. But, hey, if it works for you, then I'm not going to argue with success. :)

no cart? do you just put your mouth on the atty? or do you mean you use a cart but no filler? or is my vocabulary off?

No filler inside the cart. :)

However, sometimes I'm really lazy and I put my mouth directly on the atty without any mouthpiece. It's called "tail-piping," which I believe is a term coined by Walrus.

Your Smoke Everywhere is PROBABLY an RN4081 which is a VERY good dripping machine.
But due to the auto batteries, you do have to take some care.

not sure if i get a instant nic fix? but i do know i get more vapor and taste from dripping, and i suppose i did feel wee bit more nic effect with dripping, but then me being a noob, it might be mind over matter ? lol

So, am I correct that you put a couple of drops directly on the atty and put on an empty cart? I'm so sorry for being so dense...I just can't wrap my head around it no matter how much I read. Mainly because I don't fully understand the words you guys use.

yes i dripped directly on the atty, and used a empty cart
