I agree with Kevin Free heart. I once quit "cold turkey" the analogs and had dreams all the time that I was smoking and woke to fill guilty and mad at myself. Still I quit for six years.....then one day I had to have a cigarette. (Pre e-cigs) and I was back on them AGAIN!!!! Just up your nic when you have one of those feelings. I have found since vaping that is all it takes and the dreams (nightmares) go away and I don't feel guilty anymore. Keep up the good work. And try an analog......they suck :)))

TJ remember one thing, it is a saying I tell everyone and learned it from 2 dear friends of mine Saw and Born:

It is not a failure or an embarrassment if you have to smoke, but a victory for the fact that you did not smoke as much as you always have. Remember every cig unsmoked is a great achievement!"

And I tell everyone that feels like you do that and they feel a lot better.

I agree, SO true! Major achievement!!

I've been off cigs for 3 months and 1 day. I tried smoking a cig, same brand that I used to smoke, only because my hubby and I were having alot of stress issues. I took one big drag and coughed up a lung. Stomped it out and grabbed my ecig, loaded it with a higher MG that I usually vape and my anxiety was gone in a minute. I could never go back to smoking cigs. I had to brush my teeth, gargle with mouthwash, and eat some crackers to rid the taste. YUCK.

If you're only at 4mg, up to 8mg for awhile. If you're still having trouble, bump up again. Don't give up and don't start smoking. vaping is the best gift you ever gave yourself. Hang in there. You've shift yourself too fast and your brain can't take it. Give it some relief with higher mg.

I started at 36 and haven't budged from there. At times, I still crave a cigarette. Just the other day I almost bought a pack in the store. Almost. Sucked it up and left the store...

It's a tough monkey to completely eradicate. I've also dreamt of them. Quitting is tough. Think of how tough it'd be without vaping!

Hey Addy, good to see you really back! As you said, quitting is tough - I've seriously quit 6 times, and only the last has been successful; In October of 2009 I started vaping, haven't smoked since. IF I were to stop vaping, I would very likely fail again, and smoking analogs after about a month. Thus, I have no intention of quitting vaping, only slowly decreasing the nic levels over time.
