I started on a 510 kit, went to a Vgo, dripping on 510 LR atty, and using some of the E2 cartos. I have been surfing the review for all the different mods out there and now I'm more confused then ever! I went ahead and order a 3.7 box mod from Madvapes yesterday along with some 306LR atties to go with it. I have my eye on the Little Sister and the Big Brother Variables. But do I need a variable? Could I just get another box mod of 5.0? I am more addicted to a serious th, I guess I really like flavor too. And vapor is a must.... Lawsy, Someone help me Pleeeease!!

Well, depends on what you want.

Will you use vari-volt? Consider whether or not you ever have a desire for more power adjustment than standard 3.7v, or 3.7v with an LR, or 5/6v will offer. If so, then you may want vari-volt.

The price of vari-volt, to me, was in complexity. Complexity almost always means a shortened life span. Now, lots of people have had their Buzz's keep on truckin' through even the worst treatment, so I'm not saying that these types of mods are necessarily failure-prone. It depends on how they're built.

But, for example, when hunting for a mod I decided I never wanted to buy another mod again, and vari-volt didn't matter to me. Thus, I could narrow the playing field down to all-mechanical mods, which have the longest life expectancy.

Going with a quality vari-volt like the Buzz (and they're coming out with a sleeker vari-volt called the Infinity soon as well) will probably offer you lots of longevity as well. But it just depends on what you want and need.

What do you want from a mod, in terms of features, battery life, over-all life expectancy, versatility, size, and cost, and how do all those things balance out with each other?

eJoker is right... get them all. Most of us over time will find ourselves buying most of them anyway. So if you already set your mind that you will get them all, you have something to shoot for. My next one I have to agree is Provapes Provari, it seems to have caught my attention.

I can see me starting a collection! I have seen some of the pics here with members collections and thought now why would anyone need all those different vp's??!? Well, I see now it isn't a need as much as a want... And I do have the tendency to be a horder! No one has mentioned the Little Sister var. or the Big Brother var. They are more in the price range I would go to for the next purchase. Anyone recommend one of them for next step?? I do want the battery to last over 4 hrs if possible, to get me through work, but I will carry extra's.
Thanks guys you're the best bunch I've come across!

I'm in line for a ProVari. Lil Sis does a great job, but I almost need to drag a wagon to carry nuff 10440 batts to last all day. An E2 XL Carto will do me a workday, but I carry a spare just in case. eJoker's right, I'll prolly end up gettin um all. The VV's, the feeders. . .who knows what's next. Somebody is busy designing the mod with the next option I'll just have to have.

Good Luck with whichever you choose. It will prolly be short lived. . .even if it lasts forever.

Cheers,
