Hi guys,

I'm looking buying a Silver Bullet from here: AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | | Silver Bullet

I'm a newb so I don't know much about the Silver Bullet other than what I've seen on youtube. It looks awesome, and that the 6 volt battery with a 510 atty produces really nice, warm, solid TH vapor - which is right up my alley.

That's all i know...

So I went to the altsmoke.com site and looked at the silver bullet - that's where I started to get confused.

The unit itself with nothing else comes in at $89, and that's with no attys, no batteries, no charger, nothing. What should I buy to start using this SB? Can a vet please guide me here? Do i have to buy the batteries from them?

Also, one more question. From what I understand, the SB is a drip type PV.. meaning you can only drip a few drops of liquid directly onto the atty per time...there's no cartidges or tanks or anything right?

How do people take Silver Bullets on the road with them? Say you're walking around town and your atty's outta juice, do you have to stop, open it up and drip direct from a bottle? Sounds really trouble some :(

But I want that sensation vapor that everyone's saying only a 6 volt device can do.

Any advice would be so appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

You will need to buy batteries, atomizers or cartomizers, charger separately. AltSmoke sells these items and you can bundle them together along with the SB, but the SB is priced without these other items added on. Its not really a starter kit, per se, but the SB is a great PV and has a huge following here.

3.7V vaping is done with a single 18650 battery. 6V vaping is done with 2 CR123 batteries, and it looks like you cannot get CR123's there, but there are many battery vendors (Battery Junction, for example). Most people who want a mod already have batteries, chargers, attys, cartos, etc. The SB is the battery tube with a switch. What atty is put on is your choice, and with the 2600 mAh 18650 you have lots of options from regular 2.5 ohm attys to low resistance attys and cartos to even tanks if you get the right adapter. At 6V you should use only attys/cartos at 2.5 ohm or higher.

But again, a mod, in this case the Silver Bullet, is generally the battery housing with a switch. Most high-end mods are just this, with other necessary accessories either already in your possession, or ordered as extra.
