My Scrambled: (He watches football with me. He's HUGE.)
And his sister Poached (she is tiny, and nicknamed Squirrely cuz she has a super fluffy tail and looks like a squirrel):
(Mom was a rescue, and the kitchen staff where she was hanging out called her Chicken Tenders. So she was Chicken and all 7 kittens got appropriate names..)
Oh, and our dog. She had to be put down last week - sudden fast-growing cancer. (100% ok a month ago, even had a full blood workup. Then one day it started, and when it got access to a blood supply she was gone in just over a week.. it was a really good week for her though!)

It was so fast she never had a bad day. Got uncomfortable but when it started to go bad we made her appointment. (She was growing daily.)

Tasha (6 yr girl) and Spock (13 yr boy), both breed Champions (Belgian Tervuren) and multi performance titled. This was our Christmas card this year. Spock (on right) is bored, OK Mom, whatever. Tasha (on left) is stylin' in her tree hat!

Both RIP now within a year of each other. With the economy, haven't been able to get another pet but I loved them dearly.

well she is a bit crazy but that's beside the point.
i'll make it short:
my sister-in-law is a writer and went to a mental hospital to interview someone for a book she's working on. later, in a taxi on her way back home she heard something in her bag. she looks in, and it's a tiny tiny kitten. she had no idea how it got there. either it crawled in there on her own or one of the patients put it in there (we like to think she made a daring escape).
she took the kitten home but as she and her husband (my brother) at the time already had a cat and three rabbits (not too common in NYC) they couldn't keep her but my sister-in-law didn't want to take her back to the loony bin. so eventually i volunteered to take her home.
i figured if she was born in a mental hospital, she'd feel right at home at my place.
and she did.
here she is a few days after her first arrival. you can see she still had a little crazy in her eyes...
