Ok so I want to sub ohm..I have a patriot clone and a svd but obviously I cant use my svd for it and thats where my question lies. What mech mod should I get thats resonably cheap? I dont know the difference between regulated and whatever but I want to be as safe as possible. So in the end I want to be able to vape at 20-30 watts what should I get? Please help!

First if you're still deciding on a mech mod, is safety and it's good you want to be as safe as possible, but one thing to consider and I'm not saying you are but if you are lazy and or forgetful, it can or will affect safety. One thing I didn't see mentioned (I might have missed) is that you need a voltage reader and will need to check your battery, after a charge to see how your charger is working and how your battery is holding a charge, and through out the day while using your mod. You also need an ohms calculator and ohms reader to to see how much amps your drawing from your battery, and will also see your watts and voltage. Out of the batteries recomended I would suggest Sony's VTC5 18650 2600 mah battery with a continuous 30 amps, better for safety than the others. The efest says 35 amps, but I hear it's not continuous power, but pulsating power, which is not the same, I have tried it at one of my local B&Ms fully charged with one of the employees and both agreed it sucked. But for a good cheap mod to start off with I like the Hcigar Nemesis and Stingray, I have both and use 4 VTC5s with them with an efest luc 4 charger. The stingray is easier to use and is a little smaller and feels better, but I think the Nemesis hits harder. If you want to stay at 20-30 watts and want a VV/VW mod the Evic supreme and DNA 30 says it goes down to 0.3 ohms and can fire up 30 watts.

To be honest, I've never owned that battery but trying it out at a B&M along with an employee didn't like the power it put out compared to the VTC5, there are a lot of people who like that battery, but the Sony performs better, if it's your first battery for sub ohming, and you haven't tried a Sony VTC4 or VTC5 you won't know what your missing anything, so if you're happy with it, that's what matters, just make sure it fits all safety issues and builds. Sorry I can't say that battery is or isn't safe, because I'd be making things up if I did and don't want to jeopardize your safety or anyone reading this post.
