The iTaste VV 3.0 is both variable watts (VW) and variable volts (VV). The Twists only have variable voltage (VV) and have no screen readout. With VV you do the oHms math, with VW the device does the math if you use different juice delivery devices with different oHms.

The iTaste VV 3.0 has a screen readout that will display puffs, remaining battery voltage, the oHms of the attached juice delivery device and either the watts or volts you are currently using. The Twist has no display.

I have both Twists and iTaste VV 3.0s. I much prefer the iTaste VV 3.0s because of the display and I find it irritating to do the oHms math for the Twists.

Disposable clearos will severely limit your choices. All of them are plastic and can not be used with juice flavors that crack polycarbonate tanks. You can get clearos with replaceable heads instead if you don't want to bother with cleaning them. It's dead simple to simply unscrew the head and screw a new one one.

The Kanger mini Pro Tank is a good choice for either a Twist or iTaste VV 3.0. It has a glass tank that will allow you to use tank-cracking flavors.

I have an eroll and i am looking to get something that uses a clearomizer.
i am considering an ego twist or itaste vv 3.0.
would love to hear some opinions on the two and recommendations on disposable clearomizers.

Hi and welcome to ECF,

glad to hear you want to step it up, but no need to go with a disposable clearomizer (rebuildable only like a dollar more)

so the ends or 'tips' are the same on both ego twist & vv3.0 (looks like--> Adapter - 510 Battery to eGo Cartomizer)
you can use clearomizers or cartomizers on either

-the 1300mAh VV is cheap simple small (2=$48)
Vision Spinner - 1300mah - Red

-the VV 3.0 is only 800mAh, has more adjustability and a big plus, it's a Passthru (1=$40)
Innokin iTaste VV/VW V3

then of course there is a big choice of 'tanks' to hold and deliver your fluids...
Kanger T0 T2 T3 T4 T5 EVOD ProTank Clearomizers

Good Luck and Happy Vaping :)

The iTaste is the more "sophisticated" of the two. You pay more for it. Do you "need" it? Do you care about the size/shape of the PV?

If I had the $$$ to spend I get the iTaste over the Twist, but I like features such as screens. Funny, since I'm using a VV mod without one right now. lol.

IDK what the amp limit is on the iTaste but they make several models too. The 3.0 is 800 mAh, the MVP 2.0 is 2600 mAh and is fatter/wider due to the bigger battery. Hard to find specs right off. Maybe someone else will chime in that knows the specs or where to find them.

ETA: Looks like both iTaste's go to 11 watts.

I have both a Spinner (exactly like the Twist) and the iTaste....I enjoy the iTaste except it doesn't work with my lanyard, that's the only drawback, the only drawback. I purchased it at an amazing price with my Birthday money...LoL, I'm 45 and I still get B'day money....The plus side with the Twist or Spinner is the option for 1300mAH....they have a longer life. The iTaste is only 800mAH, but they are passthroughs. If you like gadgety items go with the iTaste, it performs amazing and all 510 and eGo tips work on it. If you want something to last you outside the home without running outta power get a Spinner 1300mAH/Twist 1100mAH.

I just turned 39, got some birthday money as well, and bought the itaste vv with it. Apparently it makes a great birthday present. :p

Yes, the mini Kanger Pro Tank and the iTaste VV 3.0 will work together without the need for any adapters. The iTaste VV 3.0 has native 510 as well as the eGo threading that matches that of the mini Kanger Pro Tank. However, vaping gear is prohibited on eBay/PayPal. If someone reports the listing both the seller's account and possibly even yours could be suspended. :(
