:vapor: I have had two e cigs- an M402 and just since yesterday the Tornado tank. I am so crazy about my tank, tons of vapor, clean, that fabulous TANK.
But, no matter what juice I get, and I like fruity ones, I Think anyway if I could taste them. They smell nice....
I think I'm doing it right. I order 24 - 36mg juices. It's strong. Could that be the prob? Do I have to vape heavier, creamy, chocolate-type juice? Are my taste buds shot? Help, I'm going into debt. TW:?:

Some juice vendors give you the option to go with extra flavor. I think FSUSA is one of them that has this option. You can also go with diyflavorshack and get it mixed for you however you please.

Oh and it's nice to see another Okie on the forums :) welcome to ECF.

Your tongue can only taste sweet, salty, bitter, sour and some msg flavor called savory (or some Japanese word isntead). That's it that is all your tongue can taste. Everything else is aroma. So any berry or fruit flavors would just be a bit of sweet/tart on the tongue and the whole rest of the flavor is the aroma.

Cigarettes blow themselves all over you so you can't help smelling them. Ecigs do not do that unless you remember to let your nose have some vapor. So try to remember to left some vapor waft out of your mouth every few vapes so your nose can smell it.

if you want more flavorful juices, some vendors offer extra flavor (like FreedomSmokeUSA offers extra flavoring on many juices, Flavor Splash on some others). And I think the juices I've tried from MadVapes and Velvet Vapors seem to have more flavoring than than the amount some other juice mixers use. More flavoring should add more aroma.

Your sense of smell and taste buds are still recovering, so this is probably the reason your juice doesn't taste so great. Once they recover, your juice should start tasting better. Be patient and just stick with it because it's worth it!

I would not recommend using low resistance cartos or atomizers on your Tornado. I know that some people are doing this, and haven't had problems, but there are many more who have killed their batteries by doing this. Low resistance (LR) attys are meant to be used with 3.7V batteries. Tornado, eGo and Riva batteries are only 3.4V (3.2V under load) and use a MOSFET switch that isn't designed to handle the kind of power produced with LR attys and cartos.

Taste is subjective. What is good to me, may taste horrible to you.

You may be experiencing what almost all of us have experienced. Our taste buds change quickly and often as we stop tobacco. Many of us have shopped around with different suppliers and flavors in our search for a satisfying juice. It can take the taste buds quite awhile to recover.

Don't throw your juice away. It might taste good to you one of these days.

Yes, your juice may have a bit too much nicotine in it to suit your taste. You didn't mention what percentage of PV & VG you are using. That ratio can have an affect on your juice flavor too.

I fully understand your statement about going to the poor house trying to find something we like. This forum offers you the opportunity to swap / exchange / sell juices with other members. You might find something to try in those forums.

If you order from a juice supplier, you might want to order small bottles or sample sizes. That way you don't get stuck with a big bottle of juice that does not suit you.

Hope this helps a little,
Happy Vaping,
Paula

Once you get a good strong menthol juice it is hard to beat. I think I got one that was mostly pg (I live in Korea so couldn;t read the labels, can speak the language ok but not read lol) as it was runny as heck and Christ it was awesome. That said you have to shop around to get a good one. I also got DEKANG menthol and GH1 menthol and both are pathetic. I want to get some mint oil and / or menthol crystals to add to my small collection of lamo (strawb, usa mix, mint) juices for some strong diy menthol.

Another bonus of a good strong menthol is you can go really low nicotine (I need 11mg or less for evening vaping or I can't sleep) and still get a wonderful th and lung hit and masses, literally masses of flavor. But yeah, be warned you need to find that elusive good one...

Thanks. Could you recommend a juice that might taste good to a newbie like me? I think the mixes have been almost 50/50. Are any mixes bwetter for flavor? I am using a Totally Wicked Tornado Tank model. Know what's goo with it? I really like the vapor it produces and the strong hits I get. Just no flavor! So, you think a lowere nicotine level would help? I can use the help of anyone who reads any of my stuff. Thank you for your in-depth answer pkg

I have fell in love with flavour art flavours and use unflavoured juice so can add as much as i like to it. I have found the fruity flavours I have mixed get a little lost with lots on nicotine. coffee espresso and also irish cream seem to be fine with lots of nicotine tho. I am a newbie and my buds have changed and changed as regular as my pants

I do not use high nic with fruty flavours 18 mg makes me need a lie down and 10 mg makes my heart race and my face red. I seem to only need a little nicotine. I just noticed that when playing around the darker tastes seem less effected by the nic juice. The nic juice gives the throat hit and if you ever got tobacco in your mouth and know that peppery burning you find that is also part of the nic juices flavour it seems that softer fruity tastes are more easily knocked by this.

I have tried a product called diablo loco from totally wicked TW it is silly hot chilli extract it adds a throat hit with a slight delayed reaction but gives a chilli taste to even in minute amounts. I was hoping to use it to give some low strength juice a throat hit as i miss the sensation but did not want the taste. Seems however you do not get one without the other do not give up and hope the tank system is doing the business. If you vape to much it all tastes the same to of nothing. Good luck vaping lol

I went thru a few juices too that didn't seem to have much flavor. I didn't want a tobacco flavor but fruity didn't sound good either. I finally ordered some cappuccino and malty toffee (among others) from Backwoods Brew and I love them. They seem to satisfy the tobacco flavor with that deep coffee taste and the carmel undertones. I couldn't stop vaping they were so good. By finding thes two I have now laid down analogs for good. That's just what worked for me, but it seemed like Backwoods Brew's flavors seem alot more prevalent and almost creamy that I've not found in any others.
