iatty leak question

I guess I'm just lucky. No leaks ever on my iAtty (except for when I forget to re-open the air CR and pull a bunch of juice into the cone)

Same here......the only leaks I get are caused by me. I'm glad folks are finding solutions

I havent tried my 2nd Iatty yet that might not leak, its not a major problem

this worked like a charm, ive had a leaky iatty since the day i got it. just found some random o-rings around and put them in the 2 places you mentioned and now its been 2 full days without a drop in the connector. thank you so much eyebrook, made a huge difference!

After several straight weeks of no leaks whatsoever on the iAtty I'm using it exclusively now. My problem was getting the wire caught in the lower plastic threads.

Re: the Iatty. I have never had any leaks so I consider myself lucky. One thing though, it makes some of my juices taste so much better I can't believe it. I may have to pu another one, but then I have to buy another GGTS. Methinks maybe next yr.

Guess I'm one from the lucky ones too. Never had a leak on my iatty, few drops maybe
in a month but that's where CT comes in.
Only thing I don't like about it is flavor. Wick is all black in a day
Still waiting on my mesh to arrive(ordered over three weeks ago) that will solve my problem

My iAtty has leaked every single tank I've put into it. I've tightened everything how it's suppose to be and it leaks so now I have to keep it in a cup over night so the juice doesn't go everywhere. This is getting ridiculous and a little wasteful with juice, I will throw this thing out the window sooner or later.

This is the exact thing that I am dealing with.. I love the flavor I get and it hits like a truck but when I leave it overnight the juice is running down the side of my GGTS and it is wasting a lot of my juice.. As lond as I am vaping on it every once in a while or if I take it off the GGTS it doesnt leak but on the device it leaks if I leave it sitting for too long.... Weird.. Im sure its a beginners error and Im sure I will work this issue out but for now its a little frustrating!!!

Thanks Silentt... as soon this juice is gone Ill do that.. I think i have a few extra o rings.. I just orderes a new set from Bruce also so i should have the new ones in a couple days just in case...

Harbor Freight sells o-ring kits in both standard and metric sizes for about 8 bucks I think its a 225 pc kit they also sell the helping hands roach clip device with a magnifying glass for about 4 bucks for when you need that extra hand... just another simple solution for everyday livin...

I bought some extra 3/1,8 o-rings and just put one on the bottom connector. Fits nice and snug on the posts and seals things up very nicely.

Ok, I just took mt IAtty all apart and rebuilt it with the o-ring in place so I guess we will see in the morning if that does the trick.. If not I will try something else... I made sure my wires were not overlapping and everything was tight so I really hope this works and I dont have a juice covered GGTS when I wake up!!!

I put the o-ring in palce last night before I went to bed and I stopped the leak for the most part!! Yay... But It went from an open leak to very very slow drip almost.It didnt leak doun the GGTS just on the cap only but not much. It is still leaking but hardly anything compaired to before.... Thanks for the tips and tricks!!! now if I can just stop the very tiny drip I will be golden... Maybe a thicker o-ring????

Imeo, I believe it is leaking from the connector. But like i said after using the o ring it really slowed the leak down. It is really just a drip once in a while i think... But Im guessing its from the threads on the bottom plastic, but i really dont know exactly

if you had a GGTS you wouldnt have a problem because of the CT, thats why I made it, to avoid problems like this with atomizers. But I am curious about some people like silentt with leaking issues. I really dont get it. The only I can think of is that plastic is damaged.
