IBTanked 22mm Beauty Ring?

Greetings,

I just ordered one of these beauty rings with the hopes that it will add airflow to my carto tanks. That is the main reason I do not like carto tanks is the lack of draw that comes with them. Does anyone know if this little ring helps out?

A ring is not going to add any airflow. If anything, it will restrict airflow.
The rings from IBT have a hole in the side of them, so it will allow more air than one without a hole(such as the pro ring from Loki Labs)

Yeah the IBTanked ring is the one I am talking about.

Unless what you mean is that tightening down an IBtank onto a provari is cutting OFF airflow - an IBT ring should prevent that...

But if you've got airflow - from a flanged carto, or from not going "flush" with your tank, then it probably won't improve things...

I HATE the "gap" with a tank - my best tanks all have air channels in the bottom.
For a flat-bottom tank, I'm probably gonna try a ring with holes...

It does have two air holes in it. On my halfling tanks it does reduce the airflow(which I like) compared to the same tank on the provari without the ring. Does that make sense? to me the draw was a bit too airy without the ring, now it is just about perfect.
