OK so I figured I would order some glass tanks so I can get the flavor I get from a carto and add some volume. I ordered a tank from IBT and 2 from Phiniac (will be in my mailbox tomorrow). I love the look of the IBT and the caps fit on the tube nice and tight but this tank has slipped of my Boge carto's 3 times now and I'm starting to wonder if I am doing something wrong. This forum has been amazing for getting the info I'm looking for and these tanks seemed to be pretty well liked. What the heck am I doing wrong?

What you experienced is out of the norm, but has happened to a few people. The issue likely are the inner o-rings (the black rubber band looking things which goes between the tank's endcaps and the cartomizer. Under normal circumstances, it's recommended to lubricate the cartomizer and tank tool (you should use one) for easy insertion into the tank. After a few hours of "settling", the o-rings will grip hold of the cartomizer for a tight snug seal and shouldn't allow the tank to slide off.

Occassionally the wrong size o-rings get put on the caps by mistake. IBTanked always provides an extra set of outer and inner o-rings with every tank. Go to You Tube and do a search for "cartotank o-ring replacement" to see how to remove and replace them.

Alternately, you can ask OCD from IBTanked on their vendor sub-forum here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/339809-do-you-fiddle-your-thingy.html?highlight=do+you+fiddle+with+your+thingy
He visits the site nearly on a daily basis to respond to questions. (Vendors are not allowed to speak about their products in the general forum areas like this one.)
