It seems to short out my itaste vv all the sudden if I put my drip atomizer on it doesn't do it. But I push the test button and says 0-0 volts and if I hit the button it stays on for a good few seconds. My atomizer is working fine. Any clue what could cause the iclear to not work? I have checked the contacts they all look okay.

I think there is a little gasket , that sits under the contact plate . I think they are very similar to the Vamo , in this respect . That being said , you need to replace it with a size 60 o-ring ( lowes or home depot ) in the plumbing dept . I had to cut mine in half , to get in in , before I threw my Vamo into the trash . Worked at it for an hour , with no success . After I cut it in half , took less than 2 minutes . Gently raise the contact plate , with a dental pick , or very small screwdriver . Move it to one side of the opening , and insert one half of the o-ring , down , and under the plate . Then lift the contact plate up and over to the other side (contact plate will be covering the piece , you just put in . Then put in the other half . All done . Now the readings should rturn to normal . I have done this on both mine , and my wifes Vamo's , and have had no problems , with either , since . good luck .

Might be a bad coil on the iClear or the SVD might have an Ohm limit. If voltage or wattage is set too high it might not fire. Try lowering your voltage and wattage all the way down and see what happens.

I agree 100%- bad coil, OHM limit sounds like it could be the culprit

I have been using the innokin iClear 16's for a few months now and have 5 heads in rotation that I clean with vinegar and water and have no blown coils yet- I take approx 600 puffs a day per the counter on my MVP.

If you are using the 1.5 LR OHM heads on your unit you may want to move the iClear heads to the 2.0 OHM version
