iClear 30 drip tip green residue

Doing some cleaning and replacing coils on my iClear tonight and I used a q-tip to clean the drip tip. I didnt see it while I was cleaning it until I pulled out the q-tip and noticed a green residue coming off. It was right inside the tube of the tip where my mouth meets around the air hole. Kind of confused what would be causing this unless I'm turning into the Hulk. I'm assuming its some kind of copper reaction from my skin or the drip tip or the juice. I've been vaping Halo Twisted Java which is clear. I'm not too alarmed by it being only a small amount. Is the drip tip on the iClear chrome plated brass? The tip is not rubbed off anywhere.

Same here on mine. I've always just chalked it up to vape condensation and pocket lint.

Put on a new shirt and at the end of the day clean your belly button before you shower and you get the same thing.

The metal isn't breaking down at all. Still just as shiny as the day I bought it. And their are no replacement tips for the iClear 30 that I have found anywhere.

The metal in the inside is still shiny? I had the same thing happen to Kanger tips. The shiny coating on the inside broke down and left a gray residue when I cleAned them. They were no longer shiny on the inside. Threw them all out.

I only use cherry vape drip tips. Made in the USA. I can taste metal, but not their stainless which is medical grade. I also like their standard drip tips.

Sorry, I meant as a 'topper' what type atomiser thingymabob do you use?

I mostly now use IBTanked carto tanks and VapeRev carto tanks. Once I mastered tanks, it has been hard to go back to ProTanks 2s.

Kinda throwing me off using the iClear 30 now. The same metal on the tip is used throughout the unit. Guess I could chalk it up as backup and buy something with less questionable metals.
