I got an iClear 30s today. Brought it home, washed it out and filled it with 70/30 juice. It gives me a lot of vape but hardly any flavor at all. On a scale of 0-10 on flavor, maybe a 0.5 to 1. I am using it on an iTaste VV3, and have tried it all the way between 6 and 10 watts. The only thing I noticed was around 10 watts, the lack of flavor tasted scorched (try to imagine scorched air, that was more what it was). The juice has been steeped and gives me plenty of flavor in other attys including a Nautilus, iClear 16's and a Igo w3 dripper.

I've had it upright, upside down, on it's side, took off the tip and dripped juice down the center tube....nothing has improved the flavor. It's had juice in it for about 9 hours now, I just tried it again and no improvement.

Does this thing need to soak longer, since it is more of a carto design ? Stumped ...

The only upside to this is the guy at the vape shop gave it to me, brand new in wrap, so I'm not out anything for it. Pretty nice guy, think I'll be shopping there a lot. He had one on his VTR and it had great flavor and vape.

I love my iclear30s. I do Vape vanilla tobacco a lot tho... But I Vape vanilla butternut, butterscotch, butter pecan and a lot of other sweets. I don't find any difference in flavor with my iclear30s and my kanger Aero. I have a lot of different types of tanks but I always keep an iclear30s loaded too.

Well the iClears actual tend to mute flavor, sadly.

This was more than muted, it was almost completely GONE. If I hadn't known what flavor I was using, I would have said maybe unflavored juice in a clearo that hadn't been cleaned of the previous flavor.

im coming back from not vaping at all for almost a year to using an iclear 30s on my SVD and while I may not be the best judge to talk about muted flavor, my taste buds know enough to remember that my old viv novas muted flavor MUCH more than these iclear 30s do. Ive got an i06 dripping atty on the way so ill be able to compare falvors between that and the iclear but I feel I get a bunch of flavor as is with the iclear. Have you tried replacing the head? you may have just gotten a DOA. FYI, im vaping fruit flavors.

You wrote nothing about drying out the wicks prior to filling it with juice, so maybe that's the problem?

This. I don't have the 30s, but I do have the 30. After a washing, I got far better results if I let it dry before filling. Those long wicks hold a lot of water.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Still no flavor after soaking in juice for over 24 hours...I have soaked it in vodka all night and have the coil/carto under a light bulb to dry. I'll let it dry out for a day and see what happens.

I'm pretty sure it isn't DOA, cause it puts out vapor real well- just no flavor.
