iclear 30s burning problems (and i mean serious problems)

I've scoured the entire internet for ONE person thats having the same issue as me... and for naught.

i have the iclear30s with the wicks all contained in the center metal barrier.

So when i put in my ejuice, (peach cream to be specific, delicious in a cartomizer!) i filled it up to about 2ml right? I want to try all my new flavors instead of filling up and having to dump it back in or wait until i finish. Well i hit it and its absolutely awful. Burnt as hell, i literally physically threw up in my sink. So i let it sit for an hour to "soak." as well as made sure it was clean and was wicking properly through some series of dry burning and such. Anyway, i put my ejuice back in, filled up to 3ml and it works wonders!

So while i was at work i took a hit, and a hint of burnt taste was back. A few more hits and it was ONLY the burnt taste i was getting. I checked the liquid amount, it was at 2.5ml. So get this. 2.5ml reaches over half the tank's liquid capacity, and its still burning it. The ONLY WAY for me to get rid of the burnt taste is to fill it past 3ml (which is the max capacity) Every single FRICKING TIME i get to 2.5 i get that horrible burnt taste.

I checked the wicks, they reach the bottom of the tank, so why can't they pick up liquid under 2.5 ml????

i'm running 30 VG 70 PG... really thin. I've tried 50/50 VG/PG and 20/80 VG/PG as well as 70/30 VG/PG

Its not the liquid vivacity thats causing it.

I have a 10 pack of replacement coils. Dual coil. I've tried changing it out.

TLDR;
2.5ml and under is burnt taste.
I've tried every liquid density
I've tried switching coils
I've tried cleaning it
I've tried letting the juice soak in for an hour or two, and overnight
only 3.0ml or higher of liquid actually yeilds a hit.

Please help i'm wasting all my liquid
:(

I've never used that particular tank, but if it is a top coil tank then you should just have to make sure that the coil is getting properly saturated with liquid. Back when I used top coil tanks I would always hold the device/tank at a 30° angle and spin it in between vapes, that way the top part of the wicks would more easily feed juice into the coil. From how you described your problem it sounds like this would help, considering it only starts happening when it's below 2.5mL.

That is just a shot in the dark though, good luck getting it figured out.

I've got this tank and it works great, all the way down to empty with out any tipping. What battery are you using it on and what voltage setting (if VV)?

It's five volts and 2.1 dual coiled. I have a battery that can dial down to 3.7 so I know I'm not just blasting the wicks with too much volts.

I've tried vaping upside down and it doesn't work :/ I've spent like 30 bucks on replacement coild
