So I bought an eVic and an iClear30 last Thursday and been doing good with them until now. Before, the eVic would report the iClear at 1.8ohms, occasionally 1.9 or 2.0 for reasons beyond my understanding, but now it's suddenly reporting 2.8ohms. Don't know how to explain it with my lack of experience in vaping, but there's definitely something not right w/ the vaping in conjunction with this change. What the heck could have happened, and what does this mean? Gonna call my vendor later today when they open to see what they say, but I'd like to get some non-retailer input.
On a side note, got a protank in yesterday and omg does it make me realize just how much I don't like that iClear. Taste, vapor output, temperature (of the vapor and the mouthpiece), battery life, no gurgling, everything just seems significantly superior with the only inferiority involving having to unscrew it from the eVic in order to top off or refill it from the bottom(what a first world problem!). Already have 3mm silica wick in and 30g kanthal wire coming in another day or two and am eager to play around with rebuilding the coils. Not having to worry about cracking the tank and not having to care about what diff juices may do to the coil life is very relevant to my interests. Just makes me regret starting with the iClear that much more though, the replacement heads run over 2 dollars each and aren't rebuildable like I had originally been led to believe (dont ask), so I'll probably junk the darn thing depending on what I hear. Oh well, at least now I know. Got a protank2 coming in tomorrow as well which I expect to be no worse than the protank1.
