Posted this at pure-smokers too, but thought I'd try all my different venues board venues....

So I got my ICON about two and a half weeks ago, and I love it. It really helps me out a ton when I am at work. I work in a group home of 6 developmentally disabled adults as a Residential Counselor. As you can imagine, tensions run high quite often, and a quick fix of nic really helps when tempers flare, or consumers have behavioral outbursts. There is no smoking at my site, and I found a perfect companion in the ICON.

That said - due to the nature of my job, sometimes there is little time for me to sneak a vape when the craving hits, and as of now I am running it with a drip tip, and dripping into a 901 atty. There are times I don't really have the time to add those two drips in before I hear problems elsewhere in the house. So I am looking into 510 cartomizers. Something I can just fill, then pull out and vape when needed, instead of spending all the time I have dripping, then hoping I got the time to vape haha.

Would you recommend the LR BE510 cartos? Seems from what I've read this may be the best set up for me. Any advice or words of wisdom would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I have no recommendations but wanted you to know I did that for 5 tears.
It was a life changing experience.

Still miss it after 4 years away. Some of them still come to where I work and visit me.
Big pick me up on a bad day.

Did you get your Boge cartos from PS? I figure it doesn't really make a difference, but I am curious if possibly PSs cartos Boge cartos would work. I'll go ahead and try with the BE510s first, but I'm just curious. How did they not work?

They were not from PS, the ones I have tried at least. Although I do have some from PS. Perhaps I should try those. But I agree that it shouldn't make a difference. You can take a look at the thread I posted about my Icon being DOA (it was not) but it is a finicky piece of vaping gear IMO.

None of my Boge cartomizers work. As in they do not produce vapor with my Icon. Again, you can see my post and my last reply for more details.

Cheers,
VMS

@lowboy - It really is a rewarding job, though quite stressful at times. I came from a sales background (cell phones, bartending, Broadway merchandising) and though I had some idea what I was getting myself in to, I still find myself surprised every day with what these guys can do, and how ridiculously smart they really are. I hope to work in this field for a long time. I was a theatre major in college, and tried my thing in NYC, but I may have found my calling in human services.

I can see how higher management would make you leave as well! I'm a bit in that situation as well...but as of now, the health and well-being of my clients is of utmost importance. Therefore, I'm sticking around with this group. They are incredible, so hopefully I won't feel the need to leave due to managerial issues. What is your career now, if you don't mind my asking?
