I'd rarely use mine, would that cause problems?

Unlike the average person on the board, I'm not a habitual smoker. I like having a couple cigarettes when I'm out with my friends on the weekend, and that's about it. So basically if I bought an e-cig, it'd only get used a couple times a week.

Would I have to worry about anything? The atomizer going a week without any use, drying out, etc. The liquid in a cartridge going bad.. The liquid drying out / causing problems assuming I just drip instead of using cartridges.. Cleaning issues, etc etc.

I have never used an e-cig nor seen one in person, so I really don't know what to expect. I've been reading up all over the board, but haven't seen a question quite like mine yet. Thanks!

I cant see that there would be any problems... I have some that sit way more than weeks without being used... and when I pick them up they are just fine... I have to prime them a bit (push button ... take a hit blow out take a hit ... others are better at explaining) and drip at lest one drop to be sure the atty is wet... but no other trouble I have ever noticed

I just picked up my 401, that I haven't touched in a week or two. A fresh batt and a couple of drops on the atty and it's all good. It's a good out and about unit. I think the exposed atomizer would be good for what you want. The carts wick well and the batteries have a decent life. Easy to dip and not flood the atty.

Since you are such a light user and only for social outings..I would go very low on the nic. The 510 is very popular. I use the 901..but am changing to a 901 manual. I also have mods, but then I am a heavy vaper..the only thing that amazes me is that all of my models aren't in my mouth at once!
Good luck to you! Welcome to ECF!
