Idea for World Vaping Day

I don't know if there is time to pull enough people in to be effective but here is the idea.

Every member send your story to the national media on that day. Thousands of emails flooding the media on one day. National/World vaping Day. We would need to get email addresses for ABC, NBC, CBS etc...

A workable idea? Thoughts?

I'm on board with this. Looks like a couple of the email addresses are broken.

Any reason this can't be put in the general forums, we might get more commitment if more folks (not just casaa members) saw this.

I'm afraid the mods would just move it here and delete a new thread because it would then be a duplicate. The thread that started this whole thing got moved to the Campaigning section. I've PM'd Kristin and put this idea on the Facebook page, but still no real bites.

I'm not sure what more to do....

If it stays here, most of the members who post in the general and newbie section, some of whom are quite vocal about wanting to do something, anything, will not see this. Heck, the only reason *I* found it was because I stumbled into it while looking for something else and saw your name ~hey! I know her, let's go see what's going on in that thread~

Moving it to the campaigning section buries it, imo. When I was new to vaping and the forum, I rarely strayed anywhere other than the newbies or general thread until I learned my way around. If the world vaping day is in 10 days, some momentum needs to be established. It's a great idea and there are lots of enthusiastic vapers out there who would jump at the chance to be part of an organized email blast.

I think something happened in the links when I copied them from the PM to pasting them here. All I had to do was re copy them one at a time to fix what didn't copy over.

There is no rule that you cannot post links to other threads in the forum.

You can post both thread links. At least the other thread seems to get a bit more traffic.
