Identical 901 atomizers only work on certain batteries

I have two manual DSE 901s. I've had them about 3 or 4 months now. I bought them together in a pack from madvapes.com, and they are identical.

For some reason, as of the last week or so, each atomizer is only working with one battery. That is to say, the atomizers and batteries are no longer interchangeable.

Sometimes this isn't an issue, and they will couple with each other and produce vapor without any problem. However, the majority of the time, coupling the wrong atomizer with the wrong battery gives zero vapor.

What the heck?

It is a problem that has been addressed here on ECF before. The connectors on the atty or the battery have been pushed in loosing connection.

First if you haven't all ready clean the connections with an alcohol swap or a qtip dipped into alcohol. This will dry in about one minute. Do this every few days to maintain a good electrical connection. Try them again and see if this helped before proceeding.

IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFULL YOU WILL BREAK THE ATTY/BATTERY!
.
Now look into the the end of the atty that connects to the battery and the battery end that connects to the atty. The round protruding part with the hole in the center has been pushed in just a tiny bit. Use a paper clip and place it into the hole just enough so you can pry up GENTLY. Pry up a tiny bit and rotate a quarter turn and pry up again.

Do this to both the atty and battery and if you don't break the little wires inside by prying to hard you will be good to go.

A word of caution on doing this to your battery. I suggest only prying the atty battery connection up a little bit. If you do this to your battery you risk breaking one of the small wires that are attached to the connector. I use both the DSE901 and V4L battteries with my DSE901. I find the V4L batteries need the atty battery connection pryed up after being on the DSE901 battery. I use a tooth pick to move the center connection. It usually only needs to be moved up till the head of the center connection is about 4 threads from the end. If you move it too far some of the liquid can get past the threads that the rubber gasket now sits against. The gasket is made to press against the smooth sides that are deeper than the threads.
Another solution , if you use V4L batteries with a DSE901 atty, is to use the DSE901 / KR808D adapter, when connecting the V4L battery and DSE901 atty. The adapter was designed for using a V4L cart but works just as well to make a positve connection for the V4L battery and DSE901 atty. It adds to the length but gets past having to adjust the connector.
