I have some AW IMR batteries, and two of them look a little different than the others, as in they don't have the CE, RoHS, and recycling symbols on them. The bottom two I got from Provape when I got my Provari, so I am assuming that they are authentic AWs. The one on top came from my local shop, and I'm wondering if its not a 'real' AW IMR. Is there an easy way to tell? The only difference I see is the lack of extra symbols/ Made in China below the specs. Whats the deal?
Thanks,
Dave

What I know about AW batteries is that real AW IMRS have a protruding button top, not flat top. Also, the AW sticker on the Real AW batteries is slightly larger then the fakes, and the wrapper is a bit deeper red and the font slightly thicker and darker on the real AW's.
For what ever reason the original manufacturer left off the rohs, recycle symbol, and made in china on the 18650's and 14500's.
Also I just remembered, the couple fakes I have come across the sticker was directly over the size, and the real tends to overlap the imr and size, like seen in your picture, and the ones posted by WillyB.
