Ok, basically I got a Versa/A606 and it came with some standard no brand LIR 18500 batteries and a charger that only charges one battery at a time. I purchased some additional batteries, which are Efest IMR 18500, and all I want to know is if it is safe to charge these new batteries using the other charger? The batteries appear to make some kind of high pitched noise when I stick it in the charger which makes me nervous, but they do not appear to be getting very hot in any way. They make a noise with the original batteries too, but its more quiet. Thanks, just don't want anything bad to happen.

As long as your charger stops charging at the appropriate voltage, typically around 4.2v, it is safe. You also noted that the battery isn't getting warm, so that's a good indication that it is not over charging or charging too quickly. Keep an eye on it the first charge cycle and confirm this if you have a multimeter. The noise you are hearing is most likely the transformer in the charger. Like bk78 said, you should probably get a better charger as the noise is not normal.
