Aah, a mugwump! In that case, buy both. Doesn't matter which one you get first, just get both. Each has its pros and cons (and fans ;)) but as you're gonna need a backup anyway... :p

MVP! Still have the one (version 1) I started on 17 mos ago. Still works even tho the battery doesn't hold the charge as long now. The iStick is such a teeny thing that it's hard not to envelope in your hand. Good for stealth vaping, but an inelegant looking hold. Now the MVP, even tho much bigger can be held with panache and does have a longer charge. Why I can even do a "pinkie lift" with it.

I've been a fan of the MVP 2 ever since I got mine at the end of July last year. It has been nothing but reliable since day one, and with the improvements seen on the 20 watt version, I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I too am looking forward to upgrade to an MVP 3 when they come out, great mods plain and simple!

If I was an experienced vaper i would choose the iStick simply for it's form factor and the side firing button.

If I was a newbie, I would get the MVP because all this discussion about volts/watts, mean/avg volts would probably confuse the person a great deal. Plus the build quality and threading is better on the MVP and it doesn't rattlesnake at lower volts that new vapers use.

EDIT: I forgot you were talking about the MVP 20 watt. In that case, it would be the MVP hands down because of the adjustable 510 connection. I had to repair both my istick and MVP2 with the O-Ring fix that inevitably happens if you frequently change your tanks. The MVP 20 watt won't have this issue.

MVP hands down. No contest. Wouldn't think about it further. Hit send order. Im waiting for the 30 watt and will buy one I don't even need. Lol super solid device that rarely has ever let anyone down. It's few previous flaws appear to be fixed in this version.

This.

I have 2 MVPs and at least one leaves the house regardless of which other Mods I take with. I too will be picking up a 30 watt even though I do not need it as I know both my current MVPs will be working just fine when they come out.
