I would highly recommend the igo W

the fact that it has 3 posts as opposed to the Igo L's two makes it a no brainer for me. Personally I like having the option to run dual and quad coils. And if you only desire to build single coils, then you still do that too!

Also, if I am not mistaken, the posts in the Igo L do not have holes in them, making builds a little bit harder and the inability to use bakero (ribbon) wire. I personally have the Igo W and love the fact that each post has a hole in them to feed the wire through, especially if you wish to use thicker kanthal, or like I stated earlier, bakero (ribbon) wire.

I've set up my IGO-L with ribbon wire, it's very easy.

Loose caps are nothing to worry about. They can be fixed cheaply and easily by taking off the o-ring(s), wrapping dental floss a few times around the grooves, then replacing the o-rings.

Having tried the earlier IGOs and the AGI, I'd recommend either. The extra post on the IGO-W seems to be a plus. If you have a 22m mod, the AGI looks great on it.

I have 5 L's and none have loose caps. I don't find the need to do dual coil. I get more then enough flavor and vapor by drilling out the air hole on the L and using micro coils. I chase the nic fix, not the vapor production but that is me. I exclusively vape the L, everything else has been put away and collecting dust.

2 weeks with the IGO-L and not used any of my other 5 or 6 drippers since including the mini kayfun

Did you need to redrill the top holes deeper? Or just drill and replace with set screws using the stock depth?

I did not have to drill the posts deeper & I did not retap (forgot to answer your question about that). I only replaced with set screws cause unlike most, I prefer to use them. As long as you drill into the threaded section & your screws will reach that far you should be fine.

PM'd you since I wasn't sure if there was quote notifications on this site, but thank you again for the help! I HATE the stock IGO-L setup, it's very annoying to work with at times, especially with dual coils.

Probably not even worth getting them drilled unless you know someone who will do it for cheap or free. I definitely wouldn't try with a hand held drill. Considering the IGO-W is only $15, it might be better to just get one of those. Has three posts for dual coils & the posts have holes.

I actually found a shop around here that is willing to try it, so I'm going to head over there in a little bit. I believe it will be free, but I didn't ask on the phone. Do you think 1/16" is too large? I'm not too worried if they botch it, because the clone is only $7 from fasttech. I plan on ordering either an Igo-T or Igo-W soon anyways, but I really like this clone so far and I figured I could make it just a little better.
