I'm unaware of any true single coil build decks for a ijoy rdta. Conceivably you could put a massive single coil on one of the postless decks (imc 7,8 or 9) but you will still have 4 wick holes to fill. I have 2 different ijoy rdta's and neither had single coil airflows.
This new one has the imc-10 which has the augvape druga style post clamps.

You are right. It'll have a plug (probably silicone) to make it a single coil.

A plug for single coil is most likely, but I can see a large single coil mounted on the IMC-7, as you then only have to fill those 2 (very large) vs. 4 juice holes/cutouts/wicking port on all the others. You would just have to position the air slots right, and you can get a lot more air than a single coil plug solution would offer.

Because the V1 has been out for a while, and they want to find an excuse to sell new shiny.

Did not have a chance to build it yet I'm using the stock triple coil that came with it

Besides the look, which isn't bad at all, I don't really see the point in this RDTA.
Compared to the Combo V1 or the Limitless Classic you get one less builddeck for the same price, the drugastyle deck they provide isn't more comfortable to build on than the goon or velocity decks and aside from that even more prone to break or bend the posts and lastly there is absolutely no innovation and it's even a step back compared to the RDTA5 that, although it had it's quirks, was a step forward.
Sorry IJoy. But that's an absolute fail for me.
