Hi yall,
I've recently bought the ijoy elite. I do like it alot, I'm only having trouble with the coils.
It's not burning up (I think) but it went from tasting pretty good to ehh iffy at best.
The coils came with the starter kit and the site does not say what metal they are made from. I've looked online trying to find a site that has any information, but no luck.
I have temp control settings and other settings but I can't do much without knowing the metals.
The coil I'm using is--- CA-M1 Coil 0.5ohm Head (30-60W)
I've kept it between 30-45W just to be safe.
And yes, I primed the coil before the first use, and I also let the juice have about 10-15 mins to get into the coil and cotton everytime I refill it. again, just to be safe.

Does anyone with more experience happen to know what metal this coil is? Or if their is another site that may have more information.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Most all e-liquids mix's have their sweet spots when it comes to how many watts to use with relation to setup. I find that the wattage that works for me is usually a few watts over the lowest watt setting (where i can barely see the vape cloud on the exhale). Lower watt settings lessen the chance of burning the liquid and generates the best flavor.
The information below can help with tank problems.

my vape mod has the lowest settings. I've even tried 20w. but my sweet spot is at 40w. I can still taste the fruit but I also get the pancake vanilla taste. If I go too high, it doesn't taste like much at all, just yuck.
Oh yeah my juice is called unicorn cakes. It is blueberry pancake with strawberry milk.

From this information they are SS coils probably 316 which can be used in either power or TC mode
