I have this collection of alley keys so hopefully one of them will fit. If not, I'll find the correct one and order it online.
I never thought that I could ever run a single coil rta up around 70W. This bad boy doesn't seem to take NO for an answer.

Hey everybody.....Been reading the comments on the exp RTA....Mine came in today...Plus I got an Rx 2/3 to go with it...Sad thing is..The mod keeps giving a report of " no atomizer" but when I try another tank on...Esp my crown thank it's fine. So I put the exo on another mod( my evic mini and cuboid) same report ..no Atomizer. Seems the tank (black) has some connection issues. Any help please? Has anybody noticed this?

Are you trying the dual deck or single?
I was unable to get the dual to vape. Two black EXOs, both decks, any combination of dual deck, base, tank.
The single coil deck vapes great though.
If it works on no other mods, then I'd look at the tank too. No ideas past return it as I have never gotten a 'broken' tank to work.
Works on the evic mini by joyetech.....sends a no atomizer prompt just be4 I fire it......But that's just in a split second b4 it reads the coil and wattage...

I need to go back and read but I just got the exo rta yesterday. I put in the single coil deck with a Clapton ss316 coil at .5 ohms. I have heard great things about these so was excited to try it. Any tips on getting the best flavor out of the single coil deck? I'm getting ok flavor to start with but not great. I'm wondering if maybe I put too much cotton in the juice wells or something. I'm not getting dry hits but not really good flavor.
There was talk in the EXO discussion threads on FT, that if you can press out the threaded base ring. Clean up the base barrel with some emery paper, you can restore connectivity.
Supposedly, the threaded ring does not make good contact due to the "bluing" of the base inside.
Or just return it to where you bought it.

I returned mine, still waiting for replacement , it was a black one also, didn't think undoing the press fit would go back together all so well
Yeah....Read that too last nite....Plus I didn't have a clue what he meant....But seems you put it clearly.... Returning it to FT isnt an option ...I will be waiting eternity for it to come back plus FT guys says it may come back same as b4.....Am so confused and depressed now....Cos could it be my Rx 2/3 connector....They both came together .....A marraige plan that was...[emoji24]

Yeah it's a really iffy thing popping press fit stuff apart. A little too much sanding and it will be sloppy going back together making it possibly worse and start seeping.I returned mine, still waiting for replacement , it was a black one also, didn't think undoing the press fit would go back together all so well
It's too bad, I had my fingers crossed when I ordered my black one. Luckily the one I received worked fine.
Wismec/Joyetech/WeeLeaf are known for their poor quality 510 connectors and quite a few tanks will have issues with it. I doubt that it is the RX 2/3 as you have tried the tank on your other Joyetech products, it has to be the EXO IMHO.
The thing with FT is you have to hound them about the issue, it is a know defect in the product and they need to fix it or make it right for you. I beat on them for 2 months about a missing spares kit with one RTA and finally they ended up sending one out to me. They tried with the $2 credit stuff at first and I wouldn't budge, it was all on principal at the end and I drove them crazy over a 50 cent spares kit...
They sent me without any hassle a replacement base for my KFM3 as it was machined wrong and a new center post for my O-Atty that was cross threaded from the factory...
Even here in Canada if there is something I want quickly, I'll check with Subtank Supply first. You'll pay a little more but they are a Top Notch company that has an excellent CS department.

FT will be cheaper, but sometimes it just pays to get it from a reputable company in case of any possible defect.

I try and keep my coil height so the side air hits it in the middle.
Can you post some pics of the build?
I own a black one also. I was a getting a lot of "no atomizer" messages and from my experience, it always seemed to be a loose connection on the coils. The screws provided for this rta are a joke. Very hard to give them enough torque and avoid stripping.
