It's too bad, I had my fingers crossed when I ordered my black one. Luckily the one I received worked fine.

Wismec/Joyetech/WeeLeaf are known for their poor quality 510 connectors and quite a few tanks will have issues with it. I doubt that it is the RX 2/3 as you have tried the tank on your other Joyetech products, it has to be the EXO IMHO.

The thing with FT is you have to hound them about the issue, it is a know defect in the product and they need to fix it or make it right for you. I beat on them for 2 months about a missing spares kit with one RTA and finally they ended up sending one out to me. They tried with the $2 credit stuff at first and I wouldn't budge, it was all on principal at the end and I drove them crazy over a 50 cent spares kit... [emoji38] :pervy: [emoji38]

They sent me without any hassle a replacement base for my KFM3 as it was machined wrong and a new center post for my O-Atty that was cross threaded from the factory...

Even here in Canada if there is something I want quickly, I'll check with Subtank Supply first. You'll pay a little more but they are a Top Notch company that has an excellent CS department.

FT will be cheaper, but sometimes it just pays to get it from a reputable company in case of any possible defect.

Got any friends that work at a local machine shop?
Good luck with you EXO, hope you can get it resolved.
Thanx for the support ....Glad you guys are here to share and decipher....Most times just trying to get thru the whole set up (esp when you have not mechanical or electrical background) is like flying a Martian ship. Am gonna order the silver version if I tweaked this and it still doesn't work. Even the rx 2/3 has no atomizer issues.....It's all over YouTube. I really should have just gone smoant battle star or asmodus....Or .

Anyways I see another helpful hint to the problem. It's really could be the Phillips screws that come with the deck. Maybe I should just try the spares or get new ones totally.

Will be updating you on my travails...

I own a black one also. I was a getting a lot of "no atomizer" messages and from my experience, it always seemed to be a loose connection on the coils. The screws provided for this rta are a joke. Very hard to give them enough torque and avoid stripping.
Hey ....So did you change the screws? Did you get to sort it out? I hope I can learn from you..Seeing as we are in it...Lol

I really don't want to fiddle with my connector pin

I can't say enough good things about Subtank Supply! I've even gotten answers to questions at 1 AM, try that elsewhere.

This is me using it like I said on my evic mini...I also noticed that when its on the rx2/3 the airflow slot can't be adjusted. It's sitting flat on the mod with no allowance to twist open or close. On the evic it's opposite, there's room.dunno if this is the issue...Still get the no atomizer alert on the evic...But that doesn't last a sec....

For the users with post screw problems, have you tried sanding down the .... end of it?
Whenever I get a new tank I always inspect the post screws, some of the post screws are not machined very well.

If you remove the screw from the tank and look at the ... end of the screw (not the philips side but the side that mates with the coil lead), some screws are not machined flat. They will have a lip on the outer edge of the screw and that is all that is making contact and trapping your coil leads. What I normally do is run it over some sand paper until the bottom is completely flat, this will increase surface area for trapping the coil leads as well as voltage/current contacts.

I did this with my exo philips screws and never had a problem with post screws backing out or weird resistance jumps.

Your red oring looks like it ripping? Not to bring even more issues to the table.

I try and keep my coil height so the side air hits it in the middle.
Can you post some pics of the build?

I tried taking some pics but they came out really blurry. I think I figured out my problem. I create my own problems. I put in a ss Clapton coil for the first time with a new diy liquid. I tend to vape around 20 watts but figured out after a little experimentation that it doesn't start to give good flavor until I get over 25 watts. 26.5 seems really good now. The initial draw is a little mute but once the coil warms up then it's pretty darn good.

I will change the screws as soon as they arrive on the slow boat from China. Meanwhile I'm using a little flathead screwdriver to do the job.

So far I'm noticing an improvement in flavor over the single coil. I noticed when I took it apart that the ss Clapton coil looks huge in the single coil deck so was thinking to try a smaller coil next time. I put regular 26ga 316 3mm coils in the dual deck and really like it so far. This is what I run in my other dual coil rta's like the engine mini and crius.

In my single coil deck I'm using ss316l juggernaut coil.
