1- did you remove your batteries?
2- did you hold the fire button while connecting your usb till the device is recognised?

Yes and yes, it still didn't recognise it. Think I'm gonna have send it back and get them to fix it as the screen is faulty too.

Tried with batteries and without batteries, still won't connect.
After opening the I joy update programme, In the available DFU devices, the current status section says "£°disconnected". Windows also pops up with a message stating "USB device not recognized"
