Got mine today, the silver/stainless. Was built and vaping within 20 minutes of delivery lol.
Does have the button rattle, but I can deal with it for now. To me it shows it it an actual metal button not covered plastic etc...
So far I like it a lot, but time will tell. Have not updated yet, I wanna put it thru it's paces for a bit first.
Has some weight to it and seems to be quality built, the battery door holds well etc...

My wife and I have had our RDTA boxes since before Thanksgiving. They are fantastic! First off, no leaking, and not much seeping, very well built. My battery door slides easily, hers takes a little more effort. I dry burn the coils for cleaning by removing the cap and metal ring then wrapping a paper towel around the deck (between the deck and mod/tank) to catch all the gunk we brush off. Simple, solid, and reliable mod/tank system. Have been really enjoying the interchangeable parts from the Combo and Classic RDTAs. Have yet to upgrade the firmware, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have discovered an issue, preventable but worth mentioning.
Showed a friend mine and he noticed the ring had a bit of juice around it. I may not have gotten it tight. Anyway when he put the ring back on he torqued it down so it wouldn't leak. Long story short DON'T DO THAT. It caused juice to leak into the battery compartment . I went back and watched Daniel's break down and I have a guess as to why. When he torqued it down it moved the tank housing down and seems to have broken the seal where the main shafts goes thru the tank. The tank liner seals at the bottom of the shaft.
My box is fine and after reseating the ring it has not leaked.
Moral of the story don't put the ring on much past snug, or let others "fix" your mod.

Have you had the same issue I have with needing the ring on to dry fire your coils? Just read the post above yours and was wondering if it was just mine? I just changed out to a new build and had to have the ring in place again for it to read correctly and fire. I have also noticed every once in a while I have a little seepage from the ring but never more than just a tiny bit around the ring. It never bothered me because its technically on the tank not the mod itself. Would be different if that was the base of a normal tank as I don't like "wet" tanks lol.

Actually no, so far I have been able to dry fire without the ring.
About the ring, does your silicone seal on the base protrude? Mine is basically flush and I seem to get a bit of seepage around it when full.

The silicone seal on mine is also flush. I am thinking I may have a bad build deck if you guys can fire with without the ring in place. It just reeds the resistance so high (4.44-9.68) every time I remove the ring. I will order maybe the goon style deck and see if that fixes it. Otherwise I will just deal with it not a huge con now that I know I just need it on.

Anybody got any other decks to try yet? I'm curious about the postless.
I have the postless one but its troublsome to build on. I am running the 4 hole velocity style deck. I did not like the premade tri coil one.

I just bought a Combo RDTA. To get a new deck and replace my red Limitless plus on my Boss Genesis XL. It never looked right. I do like the deck it comes with. It's the spring loaded clamp style. Was super easy to build on. I'm hoping that the new velosity deck it came with will fix my odd issue with resistance on the RDTA Box, but since its working great right now I don't want to swap it, don't poke the bear if you know what I mean.

Well crap. Anyone else noticed any discoloration in the juice view holes?
Mine was yellowing at the top edge so decided to take it apart and check it out. Of course where you can't see well with the tank cover on.
It appears as my adv has damaged the plastic tank. It does have cinnamon in it (not alot) and I had problems years ago. Didn't even think about that being an issue as all my rta's and rdta have been glass for some time.
The tank had yellowed and almost looked deformed where the silicone seal is at the top. Didn't think to take pics when I had it apart but if I do it again I will take some.
Now unless anyone else is seeing this is will assume it's the juice. Needless to say I switched juice in mine but am disappointed.
If anyone suspected an issue I would recommend opening it to inspect.

Cinnamon is hard on plastics so that doesn't come as a huge surprise. Sorry to hear that happened to you. It would be great if Ijoy would sell spares, even though it requires disassembling the mod.

As mentioned above cut it just below the ring. The amount of cotton is a different story. I have had the best luck combing the wicks so that they loosely fill the juice holes. Have to remember that cotton expands when wet, so too much will choke it so it can't keep a proper vacuum. Not to mention too full of cotton will choke and not wick properly at all.
You know that big fill cap could be vented like a mower gas cap lol. It would prevent a vacuum issue.
Anyway hope this is what you are looking for and helps.
