Goodger Tank

IJoy%20Goodger%20Airflow%20Banner.png

Means that the airflow comes into the Head, flows down, up, and through the coil. It is not meant to imply a spiral airflow.

IJOY Tornado 300W Capable Two Post RDTA

Tornado --- “RDA” without dripping

IJOY Tornado 300W capable Two Post RDTA aims directly at a recreating a high powered RDA experience with the benefits of a tank reservoir. The Tornado T4 build deck features a two post design with two 2mm diameter terminal per post, allowing for easy mounting of dual coil builds. With optional Tornado T6 two post 6 holes optional deck, high power builds driven up to 300W can be achieved with steady wicking rates.

Combining a wide surface area 15mm by 2mm dual adjustable airflow with dual 5mm diameter inner air holes, a two post build deck, and quad 5mm diameter wick ports that result in staggering overall capability.

Using the convenient Slide & Lock gasket-sealed side top fill design, users can easily fill the 5ml tank capacity, and it is leak free.

For maximum conductivity, a 24K Gold Plated Center Pin features a direct to contact design resulting in minimal voltage drop due to the lack of redirection of electrical current.

To feed the potential of the system, dual 15mm by 2mm air slots direct airflow into two 5mm diameter air holes located in the build deck, allowing for absolutely massive vapor production. The wide area airflow also delivers cooling to a wider surface area in the subdeck, effectively cooling the entire system.

The chassis of the Tornado RDTA is manufactured utilizing 304 Stainless Steel, providing a heft and durability to be expected from a flagship tank.

Combining the form factor and capability of a RDA with the reservoir of a tank, the Tornado 300W Two Post RDTA by IJOY is a high performance platform designed for extreme vapor chasing.

Product Features:

24mm Diameter
5ml Capacity
17.8mm Two Post Build Deck
PEEK Insulator
Direct to Contact 24K Gold Plated 510
Wide Surface Area Cools Entire Subdeck and Deck of RDTA
Convenient sliding & Lock gasket sealed top side filling
Delrin Wide Drip Tip
High Quality Stainless Steel and Glass Construction

Capable Accessories:

  • Tornado Top Airflow Section. Airflow traveling down to hit the coils directly. More airflow, more vapor! Which is a definitive must buy for build enthusiasts and advanced users.
  • Tornado T6 Deck. Two post deck with three 2mm diameter terminal per post. A potential for various building.

Product Includes:

One IJOY Tornado T4 Deck Two Post RDTA

6 coils in one tank? What's next, hooking it up to a car battery
That 300W could easily be done by a triple series 18650 stack Box Mod with 3 Sony VTC4.

(12V)² / 300W = 0.48Ω
0.48Ω = 6 x 2.88Ω coils in parallel
12V / 0.48Ω = 25 Amps

300W into 6 coils is only 50W per coil.

It's just amazing how things have changed, and I'm actually glad. I used to get reamed years back using 28g wire and using a .8 ohm single coil. People always said it was too low and dangerous.

Well things have certainly changed a lot. If I had a MOSFET Box Mod, like in the example, I would try it. Again, it's only 50W per coil. Tons and tons of vapor, but not hot.
The ejuice companies are loving it too. I know if I vaped that set up, I would have to diy for sure.

Nice! thanks for sharing :) its funny cus back in july 8months a go i made a thread asking are there any tanks that will work at around 0.1ohms and now we have a few, even funnier is the juice they can get through, not that it bothers us diy'ers :)
0.1? Very close to a dead short and no room for error.

But 0.1Ω is where Temp Control works. It depends on the wire type as to how hard it is to accurately get that low. TC can work down to 0.05Ω.
Absolutely and I agree. My bad, I just was talking and thinking of those 6 Clapton ' s when the other post came in.

Absolutely and I agree. My bad, I just was talking and thinking of those 6 Claptons when the other post came in.
They do look massive, but if they are Kanthal, they are for something like competition vaping. And they could also be TC wires in Clapton Coils, like SS 316L or Titanium. I think it would be hard to get a workable TC build with Ni200, unless it had a Kanthal or Ni80 core. I probably wouldn't try Claptons for more than a dual coil myself. But the mental image is astounding.
