trying to buy some ikv platinum cartos. not going so well. when i hit the buy button i get kicked back with this message atop the screen... We currently do not ship to the zip code entered.

i live in maryland. i do not understand. first this has happened to me. everyone else ships here. is it my bank putting the nix on this and that's the default message or what? my bank (and therefore the card i'm using also) is bank of america.

i guess what i'm asking is does this have to do with the "tobacco business code" issue others have had problems with or do they actually not ship to maryland for some weird reason?

I have no idea, maybe they figured out you're lying about your location on ECF and won't sell to you now. J/K Give them a call and find out.

I just checked their business card, packing slip, and website and no phone number anywhere. I guess I gave you bad advice.

FYI, i found the iken thread/forum. wasn't hard. (of course Train2 probably already knows this.)

we'll get to the bottom of this and i'll post an update if it wasn't a simple glitch.

It may be that the item you are trying to buy is out of stock. I was on the site 2 days ago and they were OOS of almost everything.

products i'm buying i received an in-stock email for on the 28th and are not shown as out of stock on the site. they're in my cart. no link for stock notification on the page, just add to cart.

i would certainly be disappointed if they were out of stock before this was resolved. i hope that won't be the case. crossing fingers now.

Same here in TX. I am using a debit card, but running it as Visa. I haven't had any issues using mine for any other e-cig purchases, and I make a few more than I should. lol Guessing a glitch in the system.

That's not the point as to how this works. It doesn't "run" as a VISA - it runs as a bank debit transaction, not a credit card transaction. Kids can have debit cards associated with bank accounts. Kids can't have credit cards. That seems to be the loophole the antz have grabbed onto regarding getting debit card transactions processed from places that have their businesses coded as "Cigar shop". My credit card transactions are processing fine at places coded as "Cigar shop".

You could be correct, but as I have had no other issues of any kind, at any Ecig supplier b&m or Internet, I think it's probably a glitch. Guess we will find out. The last big scare thread on that topic turned out to be nothing, and just a lot if hoopla.

bacc; yep, got that. thanks a ton. it's almost business hours, so will be using it soon.

Rick; yep, debit. credit cards are a no go in my house with our forms of self control. (none) though, i can purchase 100mg/ml nic base with it, so there's no sense in missing out on a few cartos. we'll see.

FranC; sales @ iken - iken do dat i did use the contact form on the contact page, but one more annoyance can't hurt, i guess.

Mr. The J.B. - agree it's rather odd. what with nic base not being an issue and all. why i mentioned maybe their store is "registered" as a business with a tobacco code rather than another. then it shows up as illicit through the bank and may raise the red flag such as a possible minor purchasing nic products.

for just a 10 pack of cartos, i'd rather give a friend or family member the difference for use of their CC or to receive and ship to me.

EDIT: well... that's definitely the right number. unfortunately, all i got was ikenvapes voice mail. through all efforts, still no bueno.

DOUBLE EDIT: it's not taking a CC, either. DAMNIT!
